Nightmare job! I wasted $140 on all different lotions and potions, then found Hit Nitz 4 6. The ONLY treatment that worked on my kids. They have a ‘once off’ treatment that you leave in for at least 4 hours, I left it overnight, then a spray that you use for 5 days I think? It got rid of them! Every night or second night when there is an outbreak at school I pile the cheap conditioner in my girls hair and comb it out with a lice comb. This stuns and removes and live lice that may have come into contact with their heads before they can lay eggs. I do it weekly even if they don’t have any. I then blow dry their hair and when their hair is still hot and smooth I comb their hair again with the fine tooth comb. The heat of the hair dryer kills the eggs. With the girls its also good to use a hair straightener cause it fry’s the buggers. Then I treat the hair with a treatment every school holidays. I have come to terms that it is inevitable that my girls will get nits from school. if I just doing what I’m doing then I should be fine. ]]>
