A Break Is As Good As A Holiday

Life has been crazy busy lately and after spending all week couped up inside, behind my desk working, I decided that I was taking the day off.

The whole family piled into the car and decided to embark on an adventure. While we have ventured to the Watagans National Park many times before to camp and whatnot, we hadn’t actually spent a lot of time exploring it. So that is exactly what we did.

We got out into the fresh air, enjoyed a sausage sizzle lunch in absolute bliss, away from any other sole. It was just us amongst nature.

This is exactly what I needed. A break from work, a break from everyday life and some quality time with my husband and kids. It was an absolute delight.

Found this beautiful flower in the bush today while we were out exploring. ??

Australia has such beauty nature!! ??

Yes, I need this. We used to do a lot of early morning BBQs but seem to have stopped. I think I need to get back to those because they were so nice and such a good way of starting a weekend day.

It’s great you got to have a break Kell and that you let things go and were able to rest & recharge. Sometimes we don’t realise how much we’ve been pushing ourselves until we finally stop!
