Each time I get my hair cut, they ask me if I would like to make an appointment for the next cut in 6 weeks time and I always say no! I usually leave it to about 6months before I get it done again. I also tend to home colour, but next time I might get a professional one and see if I can get the right colour!!! When I was younger I didn’t like silence but now with so many kids I cherish it.
You can laugh at me today, I’m going to the hairdresser in 3 weeks for a new style as a date day with teen daughter.
Impatient me though, I put colour in my hair today set the clock and….phone rang. School nurse “child is unwell please pickup”.
Sighhhh, quick messy rinse of half baked colour and off I went. Such is the life of a Mum.

I never get to the hairdresser often enough, especially since having short hair so I always end up feeling like a shaggy dog by the time I get there. I have a fabulous hairdresser who doesn’t talk too much, gives fabulous head massages (but definitely not long enough!) and always knows what my vague references to shape & colour mean!!
