Chocolate of course.
definitely bananas, such an easy, healthy and quick snack when you are on the go!
I could not live without Kraft Mac & Cheese with tuna. For the past two weeks I’ve eaten it every single day.It is so, so good. My favorite comfort food.
I so love sitting down with a plate of cheese (type varies), cliced metwurst and dillm pickles when watching my fave tv sports. Heaps better than chips etc
My life would be all but over if every capsicum on the planet suddenly shrivelled up and died. Capsicum is my favourite savoury flavour and I add it to everything I can – spag sauce, pizza, tacos & nachos, salads, and it even goes in my scrambled eggs. I ♥ capsicum!!
I can’t live without my buckwheat, cacao, and coconut cream brownies!
Cheese …. then I would have nothing nice to eat with my red wine!
I couldn’t live without bread in all it’s delicious varieties. It’s so very versatile & if there is nothing much else on the home menu, toasted sandwiches can save the day.
Rice – I love it in sushi, I love it with Chinese food, I love it in salad, I love it with Mexican food, I love rice pudding, and I love that my son loves it so I feel less guilty when he has hardly any dinner but eats all of his rice.
A party is not a party without Burger Rings dipped in tomato sauce, love it.
Watermelon because it’s fun to eat that triangular wedge of red/white/green! The sweet juiciness forbids us to take life too seriously and shouts, “SUMMER!!!”
Cereal bars, which I can eat anywhere anytime to fill up my stomach with natural healthy ingredients and which are the perfect snacks for kids at school. I’m pregnant at moment and feel sick of most foods but fruits. Luckily I find I’m not fed up with cereal bars too
bread rolls, if they didn’t exist I dont know what I would feed my son!
Any type of Italian food and Chocolate for afterwards.
Love your blog! Found you on Kidspot 😉

My name is Merryl and I am a chocoholic. I need my daily chocolate fix to keep me sane.

Lettuce – I love salads and lettuce is the main component!
Rice – such a fantastic staple for all asian meals!
i could not live without my nightly pig out of chips and chocolate and mixed lollies
I know that tea is not technically a ‘food’, but it’s not possible to have a meal without a cup of tea to finish up.
Timtams and coffee… they are a food group on their own arent they??
sultanas, my son eats so many of them, his world would end if they were not in the house!
Potatoes: we love them. Mashed, roasted, baked, chipped & a few more I’m sure. I know the starch goes straight to my hips, but the humble spud is welcome around here.
Olives, strange I know, but they have so much meaning for me. My Nonno used to pickle his own when I was a kid and he has since passed, so I see it as a way of staying connected to my past, culture and family.

I just love potatoes and they can be cooked in so many ways. I often make home made fries, mashed potatoes (with lots of real butter and cream!), scalloped potatoes, baked potatoes or cheesy potatoes. I love them in any form – some ways are healthier for me than others! They are the most versatile vegetable I know and the biggest benefit is that there’s no getting bored with potatoes!
