Gum and Tooth Care for Baby’s + GIVEAWAY

25/02/2015 By All Mum Said 29 Comments

Gum and Tooth Care for Baby’s.

I always wondered why some toddlers/kids hated having their teeth brushed as both my boys loved it. They would brush their teeth and I would go over them to make sure they hadn’t missed any. My daughter however is not a huge fan. She is more than happy to brush them herself but when it comes time for me to brush what she hadn’t, she clamps her mouth shut. I think she feels she has already done it so there is no need for me to, however gum and tooth care for baby’s and toddlers is extremely important and should start early on. The sooner the better because it promotes healthy dental habits from a young age. The importance of gum and tooth care for baby’s should not be underrated.

I recently received a little parcel in the mail from Dreambaby. It contained a packet of their 3 Stage Baby Gum & Tooth Care brushes. As Poppet loves the idea of brushing her teeth she couldn’t wait to get her hands on these. I have always been intrigued by the baby brushes for gums but for some reason I had never purchased them in the past. I now wish I had. They are not only great for gum care but also for relieving pain.

Stage 1

The textured surface of this brush is designed to gently massage as you brush and relieve sore and tender gums.

Stage 2

This brush is perfect for cleaning and massaging gums, tooth rims and baby teeth.

Stage 3

This is the toddler brush. It features a compact head and soft, short bristles to ensure great oral hygiene for developing teeth.

For more information on the Dreambaby® Three Stage Baby Gum & Tooth Care check out the Dreambaby website. They are available in 3 colours ( pink, blue and white) and can be found from a range of stockists.

Bub loves brushing her teeth too but hates it when we do it. We tell her she can’t turn off the light switch until she lets us finish her teeth which works because turning off the light is her favourite thing to do.

These look great! Brushing teeth has always been a big thing in this house and we go through toothbrushes far too often. Now my kids are a bit older we are dealing with teeth falling out, orthodontists and dentist check ups. Actually, my 8 year old went to bed tonight with a tooth hanging by its thread about to fall out… looking forward to a visit from the tooth fairy this week. it is so important to set this habit early and these brushes look like the goods.

My girl is currently growing teeth. I have been bitten by her many many times when I did her oral clean with my fingers. Ouch! This three stage baby gum & tooth care would save me!
