Why would they want that, like really? ]]> By: All Mum Said http://allmumsaid.com.au/how-to-keep-your-valuables-safe-at-home/#comment-162598 Sun, 07 Aug 2016 13:16:42 +0000 http://allmumsaid.com.au/?p=10636#comment-162598 Oh no! That is the worst. I think I would prefer something expensive taken over something sentimental. You cannot replace that. ]]> By: All Mum Said http://allmumsaid.com.au/how-to-keep-your-valuables-safe-at-home/#comment-162597 Sun, 07 Aug 2016 13:15:38 +0000 http://allmumsaid.com.au/?p=10636#comment-162597 Our estate has bursts of break ins as well, mostly kids but you just can’t be too careful. I’m sure the dog will be enough to scare of anyone who thinks about breaking into your place. ]]> By: All Mum Said http://allmumsaid.com.au/how-to-keep-your-valuables-safe-at-home/#comment-162596 Sun, 07 Aug 2016 13:13:51 +0000 http://allmumsaid.com.au/?p=10636#comment-162596 Wow! How scary. I would definitely have tightened the security. We are always pretty relaxed with our locks until something happens in the neighbourhood and reminds you that you need to be more cautious. Glad no one was hurt! ]]> By: All Mum Said http://allmumsaid.com.au/how-to-keep-your-valuables-safe-at-home/#comment-162595 Sun, 07 Aug 2016 13:12:08 +0000 http://allmumsaid.com.au/?p=10636#comment-162595 Well I guess we will be fine! Haha we have shit everywhere, damn kids.
Makes sense I guess about the less impressive things to take, in theory anyway. ]]>

How bizarre. I’m glad you got off lightly! ]]> By: Shari from GoodFoodWeek http://allmumsaid.com.au/how-to-keep-your-valuables-safe-at-home/#comment-162534 Mon, 01 Aug 2016 01:13:38 +0000 http://allmumsaid.com.au/?p=10636#comment-162534 When we were broken into, the only things they took were from our baby’s room. They stole his christening cross which was not only of great sentimental value, but also very expensive. ]]> By: Beth | AlmostPosh.com http://allmumsaid.com.au/how-to-keep-your-valuables-safe-at-home/#comment-162532 Mon, 01 Aug 2016 00:47:23 +0000 http://allmumsaid.com.au/?p=10636#comment-162532 Our house was broken into a few years ago. Despite the numerous easy targets lying about in plain sight, including game consoles, camera, iPod and actual cash, the only things taken were a handful of old junk jewellery along with my grandmother’s plain silver wedding ring – all of which had very little value except sentimental. Horrible feeling. ]]> By: Cate@Life Behind The Purple Door http://allmumsaid.com.au/how-to-keep-your-valuables-safe-at-home/#comment-162531 Sun, 31 Jul 2016 23:53:39 +0000 http://allmumsaid.com.au/?p=10636#comment-162531 we’ve had a spate of break ins and car thefts in our suburb, so police are constantly patroling. It’s all opportunistic kids, but a couple have been serious theives out for themselves. A bit scary, but we’re armed with the big dog now, who will lick them to death! ]]> By: Raych http://allmumsaid.com.au/how-to-keep-your-valuables-safe-at-home/#comment-162529 Sun, 31 Jul 2016 23:09:34 +0000 http://allmumsaid.com.au/?p=10636#comment-162529 We had an intruder in our back yard. While the girls were home with friends. He was caught peering through the back window at them, near an unlocked door. He had a brick. Thankfully hubby emptied the garbage and inadvertently scared him off in the process. Still no idea what he was up to. Hate to think what could have happened if he’d tried the unlocked door. We have tightened security since then. ]]>
