My Acrostic Poem: CHRISTMAS

Climbing on the play equipment
Hanging out with family and friends
Riding bikes and bouncing balls
Ice creams galore (homemade of course)
Singing Christmas carols (off key)
Time to give and receive
Mummy gets to sleep-in (until at least 7am)
Attacking the after Christmas sales
Sneaking in some chocolate (while the kids aren’t watching)

This year for Christmas I bought my kids a sprinkler – so many childhood memories of the sprinkler for me!
My kids and I have spent many hours this Summer playing with that sprinkler, jumping over it, lying beneath it as the water rains down on top of us, and their favourite, which is to place it near the swing and slide and use their playbround equipment in the water. With so many fancy and expensive inflatable pool options on the market, I forgot just how much fun a simple sprinkler is. ]]>
