This bag would be perfect for my mother. My 60yo father has been very sick with a ‘surprise cancer’ for 6 weeks and my Mum has been going back and forth to hospital twice every day and all she’s had to carry the things that he needs (and her books and knitting etc) is a green bag!!! It would be wonderful to offer her up a nice new bag so she can officially retire the green bag!!! As cash is a little tight at the moment she would never gift herself a bag like this!

I need a bag with more pockets! I’ve managed to cut down on hauling around everything ever made (at Carols by Candlelight I pulled out a car for my 3yr old to play with. And another. I was toting around SIXTEEN toy cars). But even with less stuff, I can never find my phone before it finishes ringing, never find my camera before I miss the shot, never find my nail clippers, or mascara – it’s just frustrating!

My handbag is old and horrible, the vinyl stuff is peeling, I offered it to my 10 year old daughter to play with, but even she doesn’t want it, I also hate shopping (weird I know!), so a fantastic bag like this that is picked and ready for me would be fantastic!
I need this bag for its amazing storage capacity! I have to be able to carry mater and lightning mcqueen, spare boys Jocks size 3 and spare shorts, my wallet and phone, baby wipes (even though we are out of nappies i can’t live without them!), Thomas the tank thongs, bandaids and tissues, various paperwork for medicare and scripts (we live at the chemist!) This is a great sized bag, with handy little pockets. Not to heavy to use while babywearing! Plus the colour won’t clash with my wraps! A mama I know has a baby boy called Journey so it doesn’t even matter if this bag doesn’t suit me cos I can pass it along to her!
With x2 babies to my credit (along with a 12 year old!), a premium baby bag is a must. I take my time and pack my current bag with military precision, and the mums at playgroup are wowed when I whip out my……Daggy old Avon Baby Bag from 2001. Or not. My daggy old bag impresses NO-ONE lol. I sit green with envy and admire the beautiful leather pieces that the other mums at play group flash around and count the days till I can burn classy vinyl piece I schlep around.

I don’t have an awesome poem because i’m not that clever.
What i do have is a $15 handbag, that currently has M&Ms and hand sanitizer forming a disgusting layer on the bottom of my handbag. If i looked hard enough i am sure there would be some lego pieces mixed in for good measure as well as some other unidentifiable things. This is what happens when you have kids.
Why i would love to have this handbag is i’ve never owned anything so nice.

I like my handbags to have lots of pockets so that I can organise it to carry the things I need. (Plus the extras). I don’t like my pens in with bandaids etc so I need enough different pockets to suit. I can spend weeks finding just the right one and it frustrates my hubby. He bought me my the one I’m currently using for Mothers Day last year and I hate it as everything is just all wrong ( I’m sure you know what I mean) I can’t stand the thing but I use it to make him feel good. I really need a new one so I can ditch the other…sorry give it to Miss 8 to use in her dress ups. 😉

I used a nappy bag for a long time, long time. Then my babies graduated from not needing extra supplies so I could go back to using a handbag that was all my own. As a surprise my parents brought me a new handbag home from their holiday in Europe, oh how I loved it. Then many years after the last, along comes a new baby and I’m back to needing a nappy bag and I must admit, I’m miss my handbag, for all its prettiness. So this gorgeous Journie bag could replace my pretty handbag and also function as the needed nappy bag.
