Bath Fizzie
The Bath Fizzie Kit is perfect for bubble bath lovers. Available in pink and blue kits, even boys will enjoy making these. My youngest 2 kids (6 & 2) loved mixing the bath bombs and pressing them into the moulds. The beauty of these is they only take a couple of hours to set so the kids can enjoy their works of art the same day. Mini Kit – RRP $10.95 USD / Large Kit – RRP $16.95 USD.
Lip Balm
This is my daughter’s favourite kit. She may only be 2 but she is lip balm obsessed. She helped her brother measure the ingredients (beeswax, Shea butter and safflower oil) and mixed it together once melted. The beeswax does take longer to melt than the instructions said but it was a very cold day when we made them so that may have contributed to it. The Mini Lip Balm kit makes 2 lip balms (1 jar and 1 twist up tube), my son called dibs on the jar and my daughter was thrilled that she had a big girl lip balm of her own. Soap
These different shaped PH neutral soaps are not only exciting to make, they are good clean fun. The vegetable based glycerine soaps are great smelling, scented with naturally derived fragrances, Tropical Sunset or Jasmine. The kids absolutely loved making these soaps because they are quick and easy to make along with making four different shapes to suit each of the children. Moisturiser
Excited by the thought of having a moisturiser of their own, the kids were looking forward to creating their very own with their chosen scent. This moisturiser is light, smooth and will keep your child’s skin feeling soft. While the moisturiser itself is extremely easy for the kids to make, transferring the cream from the cup to tubes is painful. It is a struggle to get a decent amount into each tube. Great idea but we couldn’t execute it to its full potential. Mini Kit – RRP $11.95 / Large Kit – RRP $21.95 USD.

I have to be totally honest here, Do you know those funny pics/Posts “nailed it”. Well thats us, we try everything we see (even if it’s only the cat who thinks its cool). Spend a heap of money we don’t have on “supplies” laugh our way through the whole process, end up with something that has no resemblance whatsoever to what we were aiming for and after a week of moving item from table to side board to benchtop it eventually ends up in bin.
BUT, we do it all over again, because..it’s a whole bunch of silly and fun.
I think my 9 year old girl would defo make that adorable excited little squeal if i told her she could make her own lippy, moisturiser etc.
Im hooked on making clay earrings my 9 year old daughter loves helping roll the clay and weigh it in a range of colors lots of fun a great weekend activity
What great ideas so different to our usual craft things we make the girls would love to make their own soap and lib balm

My daughter is absolutely Bath Bomb crazy and it started to get too costly, so we make our own, have had a few catastrophies in the process
My daughter loves jewellery making, painting and turning recycled home materials into masterpieces.
Potato stamping but with every other possible fruit and vegetable. And I must say the four of us (wife included) get some pretty amazing results.
All sorts of things, from making paper flowers to puppets. matchstick houses, home made wrapping paper and cards, we knit, we sew, making funny things out of fuzzy felt. We’re always making or creating something, along with a mess!!
We paint and make lots of mess!
These are great creative activities for the kids to do.
We love cooking together! It’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and a yummy way too!
Decorations for XMAS tree prepared in advance for each festive season.
We have made lots of jewellery, Christmas Decorations, decorated finger and toe nails, made greeting cards and we collect scraps – material, wrapping paper, magazine cut outs, old cards etc, because we never know when they may come in handy.
love to get crafty with natural materials like wood and sticks and weave creations to hang as mobiles in the garden
Craft and DIY projects of those I sure have many,
but Children of my own, I’m afraid I don’t have any,

Hmmmmm, not having a creative bone in my body, craft creations extend no further than painting and colouring.
My kids love making candles & we’ve just started trying to make dream catchers . Not very good yet , but we enjoy it .
We love to make gifts for family and friends – usually bath salts with lovely dried flowers and essential oils.
We are big Mister Maker fans, so there are lots of bugs, cards, crafty fake food & clay pencil holders around the place. Plus we love doing cross stitch
My children love any sort of craft. Some of our favourites are Geleez, painting, playdough (that we make ourselves), and now that my girls are getting older they are loving experimenting with nail art.

Paper Mache as it keeps them very busy
My son loves to do chalk drawings on the pavement at home with me and loves to finger paint at creche!
We love to finger paint. We sit outside on the grass, so it’s not a stressful experience. We use food dye and cornflour. Loads of fun when you don’t have the mess to worry.
DIY?? More like Epic Fail! We tried to make our own playdough……. well it wasn’t really the conventional playdough more like a mushy mess….. Not to mention food dye all over my son’s hands and bench top… safe to say we’ll leave the DIY to the shop bought crafts!
We love to make cards. They’re fun to make, personalised and give the recipients a lot of pleasure.
I’m an expert at colouring in. After that, it all goes downhill. The kids and I make felt puppets, pompoms, and paper plate masks. We’ve tried French knitting, crochet and dream catchers. I do so love playing with playdough, which is a good thing since the kids have banned me from Lego (not the time to be avant garde apparently!)
I love beading with my kids. It enables them to be creative, is great for recognising colours and counting and is fabulous for their fine motor skills. Importantly, it doesn’t make too much mess!!!
My 2 girls love doing long stitch pictures, their bedroom has their creations up on the wall, and they are immensely proud of their efforts, and they love giving them as presents to their Grandma and Grandads.
We love to make garden bird feeders then hide and watch what comes for dinner… and play doh. It’s so easy and I can use old shampoo’s and moisturisers for a cool smell.
Jewellery, necklaces and earrings, sometimes they are very chic and I don’t mind wearing them!
