What’s that ugh pulling my arm out quickly and with it out flew a snot ball with barely attached tissue from my bag it landed right on the poor woman’s shirt serving me and fell to the floor she said not to worry about the rest and off I went thanking her and apologising at the same time. And it all happened because I thought mr man wiping his nose on is sleeve was gross, how wrong was I mr man blowing his nose and using my handbag as a bin is way worse.

Mon, 27 May 2013 03:28:08 +0000http://madmummas.com/?p=1543#comment-3544I had four girls age four and under, so my nappy bag was very large. The most embarrassing moment I can remember was when I walked through the checkout and the alarm go off. I had to unpack the whole nappy bag, and pram, for a staff member – EVERYTHING – including my feminine hygiene products, the half-chewed milk arrowroot biscuits, the 97 assorted dummies I had been searching the whole house for, and the soggy cloth nappy I had changed earlier during the shopping trip. The staff eventually concluded that the alarm must have been faulty (ya think? It was going off about every 3 people, and they weren’t accosted and forced to expel the contents of their bags all over the floor!) and let me go. By that time the baby was screaming, the toddlers were toddling off in opposite directions, and the pre-schooler was jumping up and down holding herself in that particular way which I knew meant we had to find a toilet within the next 4.2 seconds or there would be more soggy things to put in the nappy bag! Not a fun memory.

Mon, 27 May 2013 03:26:20 +0000http://madmummas.com/?p=1543#comment-3543When I was pregnant with my daughter, I proudly sewed up a fabric nappy bag that I thought was fabulous! I even made sure it was in a gender neutral fabric so that my husband wouldn’t be too ashamed to carry it, and that it matched my brand new pram… until one day I found it stashed in the back of my husband’s car, with a dirty nappy inside – that had been squashed by the pram – about 4 days before. And that was the end of that. Now I make do with second-hand handbags that don’t really have enough room, but don’t smell as bad!

Also I have to have suitable items to keep them amused ie crayons , little cars & puzzles . This bag looks perfect for me , I could be a stylish modern granny
