My hubby is the full time carer for our beautiful 20 yrs old special needs daughter Jade , he does all the heavy lifting , spends hours making her laugh and makes sure she has 100% quality of life , so for me he deserves something amazing in return for his devotion she is non-verbal so he will never get to hear the words “I love you dad” but in his heart he knows she idolises him.

My dad is a special needs teacher at a school called Hopetown. As you could imagine, teaching 15 special need children all at once can be challenging but it is also dangerous. There are numerous times a year he comes home bruised, scratched and bleeding. There have even been trips to the dentist to fix chipped teeth. But he loves his job and wouldn’t change a thing. He relaxes by washing his car at 8am EVERY Saturday morning (literally rain hail or shine!!) Every fathers day, birthday and christmas he gets a big hamper of car washing products

My hubby is not a handy man, his idea of working around the house is washing the car or scrubbing the BBQ! So in this case lightening car care would be perfect for him. He can clean and scrub all weekend. Luckily he is good at changing the tv channels and recording tv shows, as he works at foxtel. A place where he is able to see a television all day long!

My partner is a car salesman who does an incredible job each and every day.

Hubby is a glorified farmer – but works for a State Government Department which means a consistent pay each fortnight. Thank goodness as we’re not relying on the lap of the gods for wages to come in. He sits on his tractor plowing perfectly straight rows, taking soil samples, placing seeds under microscopes for close examination. His work calls from exact measurements, perfect timing of spraying etc, so yes he is a little on the perfectionist side. As a result he loves to keep his car immaculate – his ‘other baby’ as he refers to her. So he’d just luurv this prize pack.

Hubby gets us by painting and decorating here and there. He always has to use an exfoliating glove to get the paint off his hands. The gloss paint they use doesn’t like to budge, so he would love the barrier cream to make getting that paint off easy peasy.

Nine to five, Monday to Friday, Dad is in the office programming computers to do things I don’t really understand. But when released, Dad becomes The Man. He’s the handyman, the gardening man, the mechanic man, the superman of all repairs. And he has the ute to prove it. Cleaning a car is a science, he tells me (since he’s also Car Washing Man).
