Mummy Mondays Weekly Recap
This week has been crazy busy so I have not had a chance to put something amazing and mind-blowing together. Instead I am going to share my favourite posts that linked up with Mummy Mondays last week. *I loved all the posts shared but obviously I cannot share them all!
We all experienced the Census disaster, well Amy from Handbag Mafia didn’t, but she did write a post about the new religion option and some dickhead on the internet trying to cause hysteria that Australia will become overrun with Muslims if you select ‘no religion’ as your option.

We all want time alone. Space from the kids. Where no one wants anything from you or is constantly calling your name. Suzy from In The Lyons Den got exactly that. Did she love it? Did she miss the kids and her husband? Sometimes you realise it is all the noise and all the little things that make your house so full even when it is empty.

Birthday parties are the one time of year where you can basically get whatever your hearts desire, when you are a child anyway. SAHM I am shared her well put together Paw Patrol themed birthday party including games, snacks and an incredible cake. I think her 4 year old would have been thrilled!

Who doesn’t love a good brownie? I simply couldn’t resist including these delicious lemon coconut brownies from Not Another Slippery Dip in the line-up. I am a huge citrus fan so these instantly caught my eye, I will be making them this week for the kids to take to school (if there is any left when they get home).
See the lemon brownie recipe here.

Ugh – don’t start me on census. Which reminds me I need to finish it…
What an amazing Paw Patrol Birthday Cake. Love it!
Finally added your blog button to my sidebar, too!
So busy at the moment too and only banged out one post last week! I would like a slow week for a change of pace.
I have to find out what this Paw Patrol thing is all about. Great cake!
All those cakes and brownies are making me HUNGRY!!! Thanks for the link up. x
Apparently only 45% of people have completed and returned the census so far. Such a debacle! Thanks for your linky each Monday. I might not get here each week but I am trying to remember!! I am asking readers to comment over on my blog today by answering a few (4) questions about my blog and how I may move forward with it. If you get a chance to pop over, that’d be great! I am so going to check out that recipe with lemon in it. My fav ingredient these days!! Denyse
Excellent Paw Patrol cake, my daughter is also a fan. Struggle to find gender neutral merchandise that has all pups present on it though – “girl” stuff tends just to have Skye and ring-in Everest and “boy” stuff has all four boy pups and leaves Skye off because urgh, girls are gross.
Haha I loved Amy’s Census post too! Still haven’t completed ours 🙂 Plus how good do those brownies look?! I have already pinned for later. Off to read the other two posts you mentioned now x
Thank you so much for featuring my Paw Patrol party! My son was very chuffed with his cake.
