She hopped up into the chair, the hair dresser started combing her hair to get it ready to cut, stopped, looked at me and said one word. “Nits”. Absolutely mortified, I grabbed her, carried her and ran out mumbling sorry, ( I couldn’t even look the hairdresser in the eye!) Went straight into the chemist, and THEN Miss 7 starts scratching her head! I’m trying to get her to stop, while looking at headlice products (which makes it even more obvious about why I’m in there!) and then talking to the assistant.
