American Ultra is one of those movies that you want to keep watching just to see what happens. While the movie itself wasn’t amazing, it definitely wasn’t bad. I found it to be quite funny and would watch again! It is about a stoner who unbeknownst to him is actually a government agent trained to be a killing machine; labelled a liability, he has been targeted and they want him dead. Unfortunately for them, he is too well trained (and too high to comprehend what is going on) that the CIA are finding it hard to kill him.
Roadshow synopsis: Small-town stoner Mike Howell (Jesse Eisenberg) spends most of his time getting high and writing a graphic novel. What Mike doesn’t know is that he was trained by the CIA to be a lethal killing machine. When the agency targets him for termination, his former handler activates his latent skills, turning the mild-mannered slacker into a deadly weapon. Now, the utterly surprised Mike must use his new found abilities to save himself and his girlfriend from getting smoked.

]]>The first I heard of the movie Oddball was when my boys brought home a note from school requesting that they go on an excursion to the cinema to watch it. It wasn’t exactly sure what it was about but after a quick Google search, I wanted to see it as well.
In all honesty I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. It had every aspect of a good movie; love, a hero, fluffy animals, the underdog, the twist and much more. So what is Oddball about? Well it is basically about a penguin sanctuary that is loosing penguins by the day (technically night) to the claws of foxes. In an effort to save the penguins and Swampy Marsh’s dog Oddball; they take a high stakes risk and leave Oddball on the island. To their delight and the surprise of Swampy’s daughter, Oddball saves the day. He had found his true calling!
This is a wonderfully heart-touching film that is perfect for the whole family.

Like everything we buy for our kids, we want to get the most value for money that we can. I impressed by their speedy turn around time, items were printed and received within a week and a half. I ordered a few canvas prints that turned out beautifully and a new coffee mug because I believe you can never have enough of those.
The canvas prints come in a range of sizes and thicknesses. I just got the standard size (which is thinner than every other canvas I have purchased elsewhere), if you want thicker ones you have to pay extra. This is also the case if you want hanging things included, they do not come attached either. I was surprised by this but cannot complain about the price or quality.
The mug on the other hand, I absolutely love!! I personalised it with photos of my family, a background that suited my taste and my absolute favourite part is the silver glitter interior. Until recently I hadn’t heard of the Misfit Shine. Now however, it doesn’t come off my wrist which is great that it doubles as a watch! It helps me to stay motivated, which is essentially helping me to lose some of the weight I gained during pregnancy. The well-known household brand Curash has been a saviour with my newborn. She got nappy rash when she was only a couple of weeks old and within days of using the nappy rash cream it was completely cleared up. As I grew up, the show seemed to just vanish but like a lot of TV series, they have made a comeback. I now see my own children getting exciting by the Power Rangers and re-enacting the shows themselves. It is great to see!

]]>Amy Schumer …. What can I say? She is incredibly crude but piss yourself laughing funny.
While not everyone will agree and not everyone will like her provocative sense of humour, I love it. Inside Amy Schumer had me in stitches from the first sketch to the ending credits. It is no wonder it is an Emmy Award winning comedy show.
Amy looks like the sweet, wholesome girl next door but she will definitely put that assumption to bed very quickly. ]]>You’ve seen Magic Mike and have waited for the new release of Magic Mike XXL with anticipation. Will it live up to the hype of the original or will it be a let down?
I will be honest; I didn’t race out to see the first Magic Mike like my girlfriends did. I waited for it to hit DVD, or maybe it was when it was screened on TV, I’m not sure. Either way, I had a feeling I wasn’t going to be entranced by it like my friends were.
Surprisingly, I loved it! It was great how they introduced each of the characters and how it was more than just stripping.
Now let’s talk about Magic Mike XXL. While I still enjoyed this movie, I feel like the first one was better. Magic Mike XXL was more gyrating against each other than anything else, in my opinion. There was still a story behind it but it wasn’t as entertaining as the previous film. Even though I don’t rate it as highly as Magic Mike, it was definitely still enjoyable and a movie I would watch again.
The cast doesn’t disappoint either! Even though Matthew McConaughey is no longer seen, the film is full of popular faces. You will find – Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Amber Heard, Andie McDowell, Elizabeth Banks and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Roadshow Synopsis – Picking up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, Magic Mike XXL finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. ]]>I will admit, I never watched Entourage when it was on TV. For some reason it never appealed to me. That and the fact I never really knew what the show was about, beyond some famous guy and his entourage.
So when I put the Entourage The Movie into the DVD player, I didn’t really know what to expect. I had no idea whether I would even know what was going on as I had never seen the series. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.
The star packed cast creates a comedy that has been highly anticipated, especially after the success of the TV series. Reuniting the show’s original cast and introducing some extra Hollywood favourites, Entourage is back in action!
As years have passed, so have their ambitions for life but this doesn’t make them any less exciting. Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) amicably ends his marriage after 9 days and believes that he rushed into it because he is looking for something more meaningful in life. This is when he realises he wants to not only act but also produce his next film. Not thrilled on the idea, his super agent-turned-studio head, Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) reluctantly agrees. The team goes over their $100 million budget which forces them to navigate the cut throat world of Hollywood.
With a sex tape, pro fighter, failing career, baby daddy’s, billionaire rednecks and of course the making of this film; the long-time friends have adventures galore.
I can honestly say I really enjoyed this movie! What I was expecting and what I watched was two completely different things. The movie makes me want to bulk watch the TV series!

This all star cast will have you holding the edge of your seat while you watch this masterpiece from director, George Miller. This is the fourth film in the franchise and it will not disappoint! It’s a big claim but I’m calling it, it is the best action movie in years!! It is epic.

This cast are known for their love of action and that they definitely provide! The film while it is action packed, also offers a story line that will have you hooked and wanting to watch over again.
