The post 10 Reasons You Should Have More Orgasms appeared first on All Mum Said.
]]>Have more orgasms? We have all heard that there are many benefits to having orgasms or maybe your partner has told you this and you thought they were lying through the skin of their teeth.
Well it’s true! There are so many wonderful reasons why you should be having more of them. I am going to share my top 10 with you below – some you will have heard and some maybe not.
1. Helps to relieve pain
To put it simply – the endorphin’s released during an orgasm can provide natural (and free) pain relief (yes that includes headaches and migraines too).
2. Sleep
Who doesn’t want more of that? The ease of sleep after having sex is caused by the rush of hormones that occur during orgasms (and of course the physical exhaustion would help).
3. Stress and anxiety relief
You can thank those wonderful endorphin’s again. When they are released they send ‘happy thoughts and feelings’ to your brain which cause you to be calm and relaxed.
4. Improves mood
It has been said to change your way of thinking (even if just temporarily) to see the world in a more positive light, more glass half full. This could in turn help to reduce depression and anxiety.
5. Anti-aging
That is a selling point if ever I heard one! Women pay thousands on creams, injections, etc. to make themselves appear more youthful when all they really need to do is enjoy more orgasms.
6. Exercise
Or better known as sexercise. Not only do you feel fantastic but you have given your body a complete workout. This means you can have that after sex snack without any guilt!
7. Cold killer
Experiencing orgasms boosts the immune system which ultimately keeps colds and flus away. An orgasm a day keeps the doctor away!
8. You can do it solo or duo or trio…..
There is no specific number of bodies required to enjoy an orgasm. You don’t need to have someone else or numerous others (whichever your preference) to give you an orgasm, you can do this alone if you want. If playing solo there are some great toys out there to aid your orgasm in becoming an ‘Oh-Mighty-Gasm’ like the Tango from We Vibe. It is whisper quiet, 100% waterproof (so you can enjoy it in the bath), has 8 vibration modes and the many other fantastic features will have you well on your way to pleasure. You could even vibe with a partner.
9. Physical intimacy
Sharing sexual climax with another person (most commonly your spouse) creates a sense of closeness and intimacy.
10. It is a hell of a lot of fun!!
I don’t think this needs to be elaborated on as it is pretty self explanatory.
Tell me below – what is your favourite benefit of orgasms?
Now go and reap the benefits!!

]]>The post How to Keep Your Kids Safe From the Harsh Summer Sun appeared first on All Mum Said.
]]>Summer is an exciting time for kids. It means running around outside under the sprinkler, building sandcastles at the beach with friends and cooling off with a refreshing ice cream. Keep your child’s summer untainted by sunburn by following these few safety tips.
Sunburnt skin ruins summer fun. Teach your child early on how to be sun smart; then they can enjoy the benefits of a healthy Vitamin D dose and not suffer the associated pain of itchy, peeling and painful burnt skin. The first step is to engrain habits early. Make a routine, do each task in the same order every time. Sunscreen should be SPF 30+ and be applied at least 20 minutes before going outside and reapplied every 2 hours thereafter. Get your child used to wearing sunglasses from an early age and make it fun by purchasing bright colours, or let them choose their special pair. Lead by example and wear a broad brimmed hat. Retail stores stock a range of stylish items; you don’t have to look like a daggy parent to be sun safe. Again, let your child have some input in the hat purchasing process (within reason). Spending a little more on the spider man hat is well worth the extra 10 dollars if they are excited to wear it. Shelling out a little more money now may mean saving them from skin cancers later.

It’s easy to play in the sun safely if you know how. Being in the sun at the wrong time can be the difference between a great summer play day and vomit inducing heatstroke. Dehydration can cause a myriad of problems. Prepare your children and have them drink plenty of water before they go out in the sun. Ensure they take periodic breaks to rehydrate and snack on water based fruit. If your child happens to get dehydrated during the day, make hydration fun and give them electrolyte ice blocks. No amount of diligent water consumption will keep your child hydrated if their essential salts are depleted. Limit time outside between the hours of 11am and 4pm or have your children play in the shade during this period. Don’t be fooled by cloudy skies, the majority of UV rays cut through cloud cover and your child could still end up with burnt skin. Get your kids in the habit of applying an after sun moisturiser such as aloe vera to keep their skin soft and hydrated. Grown your own plant for a fun holiday project.

Swimming in the backyard pool provides hours of entertainment and forms irreplaceable childhood memories. However, extra precautions need to be taken when spending sunny days in the pool. Sunscreen washes off in water, therefore more frequent applications are necessary. Body parts submerged in water are still susceptible to the sun. Check the pH level of your pool and have your children wear protective goggles to ward off all-too-common eye injuries sustained from pool chemicals. Invest in a pool cover, such as those at Fabric Solutions, to minimise evaporation, thus, reducing the need to use extra chemicals.
Implementing a sun safety routine will make it second nature for your little ones. Summer time will be a breeze and they will thank you later in life when they don’t have to go under the laser.

]]>The post Get a Break From the Kids This Christmas Holidays appeared first on All Mum Said.
]]>So as you are running around like mad preparing for Christmas with the kids, have you ever imagined the possibility that you could have all the fun, with someone else doing all the work for you? If you are tired of the Christmas experiences where you spend most of your time running after the kids, getting them food, drinks and keeping them occupied, while missing out on having any fun for yourself, then a cruise might be just what you need.
There is no time like the present to start planning your next Christmas with a family cruise where you will really have the chance to actually relax, sit back and smell the roses (or the fresh ocean air, as the case may be!). The great thing about cruises is that everything is catered for you, and Christmas cruises are that little bit more special because they have the whole Christmas thing going on, and you don’t have to lift a finger. On a cruise ship, the staff are trained for one purpose – to ensure that you are having the time of your life. This means that they will be in charge of looking after all aspects of the planning of the time. They have dedicated staff to look after your kids, which includes every aspect of keeping the little munchkins happy, whether that be with activities, baby sitting or food. They cater to children of all ages, so there are things to do for everyone, including you! For the older kids there are games and activities to suit them, and the younger ones will be delighted to be able to spend their days hanging out with kids their own age. No matter who you are, or what your interest is, a cruise will have something to suit every taste.

Christmas is supposed to be a time when the whole family gets together to enjoy each others company. But if you are finding that you are stressed and working like a dog to keep everyone happy then you aren’t going to be the best fun to be around (which kind of defeats the purpose of even having Christmas). On a Christmas cruise, you get to be everyone’s favourite person because you are super happy while the staff take the worries out of every aspect of organising and executing the big day. While the kids get to spend their time swimming, dancing, cooking, playing and generally doing whatever it is that kids like to do, you will be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy doing sweet nothing.

Aside from the fun of having everything done for you, the cruise will also pull into various ports along the way, where the kids will have the chance to see other cultures, explore exotic lands, and see the way other people live. They might even start to get ideas about living more simply, and maybe next Christmas they won’t have a present list as long as your arm, as they will have a better idea that ‘things’ are not such an important part of life! For info about Christmas cruises head to the Cruiseabout website.

]]>It’s hard keeping up with the new and ‘in’ toys these days. There are so many crazes at once and the kids still ‘need’ them all! In saying that though; I do love that so many of the TV shows that I grew up watching as a kid have made a come-back. I remember growing up my brother, sister and I used to pretend to be Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and ‘fly/jump/somersault’ off the swing set in an attempt to destroy the villain Rita Repulsa or in later episodes Lord Zedd. My brother was always Jason the red ranger, I was Kimberly the pink ranger and to my sisters disappointment she was always Trini the yellow ranger. Power Rangers have clearly proved themselves with series after series being aired and while they have definitely changed over the years they are no less popular.
90’s Flashback
2013 Version
It is great seeing my kids enjoying the same things that I got hours of entertainment from all those many years ago. Today however they do create Power Ranger toys that are so much cooler than they when I was a pink ranger. If your kids, like mine have embraced the world of Power Rangers then the Power Rangers Megaforce Gosei Morpher is more than likely on their Christmas wish list. It features lights, sounds and opens up to place your card inside. Each card unlocks phrases and sound effects which make for even more interactive imaginative play. 10 cards are included with the Morpher and more can be purchased to increase the phrases; there 180 phrases in total. Another pro to this toy is that it only requires 2 batteries!! RRP $49.95
As the heading suggests I also have 2 to giveaway to lucky Mad Mummas readers just in time for Christmas!!

You can win 1 of 2!
To enter all you have to do is follow the instructions on the rafflecopter below. Winner is decided based on skill and chance plays no part. Australian residents only! Sorry everyone else. **The mandatory instructions MUST be completed or your entry will be void!**

]]>I know you don’t want to hear it but I’m going to say it anyway! Christmas is on the way and at full speed it appears as well. Where has this year gone? There are only 91 days until Xmas. This means I really need to get my gift list organised and start shopping. Usually I am quite prepared however this year as we had a baby a few months ago it has really taken the focus off everything else and left me doing the mad woman last minute rush. Now what do you buy for a 6 and 4 year old boys? There are so many awesome new products on the market and of course they are all on the boys’ wish list.
I do know that the Air Hogs Hover Assault Ejects are at the top of their list which in all honesty I can understand. It looks awesome! Roughly 12 months ago my boys saved up their pocket money and bought themselves the remote control helicopters which I am pleased to say are still in full working order. They are constantly being used and are definitely well loved; I am beyond impressed by the quality of Air Hogs products and wouldn’t hesitate in purchasing more. The great thing about Air Hogs remote control helicopters and the Hover Assault Eject is that they are not only great for kids but for the man child or more commonly known as husband/dad; it keeps them all amused for hours. The helicopters are so much fun and the Hover Assault Eject is even better! Not only can it drive, it can fly and eject the wheels off while firing. These are safe to use indoors which is handy if it is too windy outside.

The Air Hogs Hover Assault will be under the tree this year and I know they will be huge hit. What is at the top of your childrens wish lists this year?

]]>Do you have a teenager or man child in your home that would love to have a scooter like the kids’? Maybe you love getting out there with the kids but haven’t found a scooter of quality or one that is large enough. Well I have got the solution for you!
Thanks to Crisp and their new Big Wheel Scooter you can now ride with the kids. What child wouldn’t want Mum or Dad to take them for scooter ride? My boys are obsessed with their bikes and scooters and now I can finally scoot next to them instead of trailing behind constantly telling them to slow them. Well I will until the baby is born anyway and then my husband will have to take over being the awesome and fun one.
I love that this scooter is Australian designed and so much thought has gone into the style and practicality of it. It has an alloy deck that is set low and wide making it easier for adults to use. Just like the kids scooters it has a height adjustable handlebar which is great when Dad and Mum take turns going for a ride with the kids! I am quite a bit shorter than my husband and this comes in handy.
The wheels are 200mm cast PU which basically means they are big enough that you can smoothly ride over bumps. There is a drink bottle holder on the front as well so when the kids get thirsty (like mine do every few minutes) you have water on hand. This scooter can be folded to easily fit into the car for those fun adventures that require a little bit of travel.
You can find the Crisp Big Wheel Scooter stocked in various bike and skate stores for $220. Find more information at www.activeoutthere.com.au
Disclaimer: I received a Crisp Big Wheel Scooter for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
