Since the little guy (Mr 3) has been sick for over week we have been pretty well trapped at home doing the same old boring stuff every day.
Luckily for us the postman delivered a parcel jam packed full of DVDs (yes majority of them are for you wonderful readers) courtesy of Universal Sony Pictures but there are 2 brand new movies out at the moment at we just had to watch.
The Jungle bunch is a very happy kids movie, full of hope, triumph, laughter (on the kids behalf) and a range of very funny characters. It is Madagascar meets Happy Feet – a wild jungle & ice filled Antarctic adventure. Maurice is a penguin who has grown up believing he is ‘The Great Tiger Warrior’ and his son is a fish. My favourite characters however are Miguel (a gorilla – tough but so cute) & Fred (a warthog who looks like Elvis). Rated G – Perfect for kids!!
I also received Lego Ninjago – Masters of Spinjitzu. The boys were most excited about this one and it kept them quiet for a whole 132 minutes! Amazing I know! According to an ancient legend, one ninja will rise above the rest and become the Green Ninja….but who? The boys couldn’t wait to find out.

The reason for my hopin’ and wishin’
Is a newly-formed family tradition.
Sick of our lack of family bonding,
And lack of listening and responding
I’ve banned all phones on Saturday nights
Yes hubby was skeptical and the kids got frights
But it really was something that needed to be done
Now we watch a family dvd, and have lots of fun
A big bowl of popcorn to add to our flick
And all phones on silent is a rule that must stick

My daughter doesn’t get to watch much TV but I let her watch ‘decent’ films and these look worthy!
With 6 kids and 2 toddlers under 2 to keep amused, the movies would provide a welcome relief to the boredom….especially when they cant go outside (rain) or dont want to play games anymore!

However he does love the monkeys more
The giraffe is also a favourite because hes very tall,
But he also loves all the animals that are small

The perfect entertaining pack for ALL the family to enjoy. Makes a nice change from The Wiggles in the morning and Power Rangers in the afternoon

Sometimes I feel like I am living in a jungle, with mess everywhere and 3 wild animals running around making heaps of noise. Surely they will relate to the Jungle Bunch and give me a moments peace:)
