After she was born and my partner was heading home I gave him a bag containing these clothes with strict instructions to put them straight in the machine when he got home. 3 days later when I was finally allowed to go home, imagine my surprise when I opened the machine to see that he had indeed put them in there, only he hadn’t actually washed them! It was not pretty, the clothes were very quickly binned and the machine bleached a few times before I could bring myself to use it again!

I had a white gown that I’d borrowed and thought I’d give it a quick wash and freshen the night before. Well, the old red sock thrown in the machine by my husband did it’s trick! The next day, our gorgeous boy was christened in PINK!
