I struggle with the urge to cocoon myself in blankets in front of the TV (and heater), drink hot chocolate and veg out each and every night. My latest breakthrough has been getting a small exercise bike and doing 10,000 revolutions a night. Brr the thought of the cold air against my face, freezing fingers and toes, blowing smoke in the air, my warm bed beckoning me to stay, eating comfort food instead, I have come to the conclusion that I pretty much turn into a hibernated hedgehog and stay in the warm, not venturing outside to exercise unless I have to. Until spring comes forth and then I wake from my slothful state and get myself going again.
