What is one of the most embarrassing things that could happen to a breastfeeding woman? Breast milk leaking is what! Any mum who breastfeeds her baby will tell you that good quality breast pads are an essential item and I am going to be honest here and say that I had only ever used disposable ones until a couple of weeks ago. I never even considered using reusable breast pads as I thought surely they couldn’t possibly do the same job; I was however wrong.
I began using some bamboo breast pads from Bambooby Buddies (Great name isn’t it?) and must say that I am in love with them. They are so soft on your skin and do actually absorb everything that they need to without leaking any excess through your clothing. It may sound like I am surprised and that is because I still am! I wasn’t game enough to leave to the house wearing them so I stayed home every time I wore them and still no leaks. Even with the night time breast pads, they are made slightly thicker to absorb more and I have experienced nothing but positive results. Amazing quality and a must try if you have even contemplated giving reusable breast pads a go. Not only are they potentially a money saver but they are also great for the environment!
Oh did I mention that I have a Bambooby Buddies Starter Pack to giveaway to one very lucky reader! The starter pack contains 3 pairs of day breast pads and 2 pairs of night time breast pads. These retail for $39.95 which is great value for money.

the yellow, less likely to see any discolouration from unexpected leakage!
What a wonderful rainbow of colours. I would love to put these bambooby breast pads to the test, they sound ahhh-mazing!!!!
I love the blue spots, all my clothes are dark so they wouldn’t stand out either.
the butterflies because butterflies are my favorite and the babies theme is butterflies because she feels like butterflies in my tummy
I Love the Colour Flowers Design it is such a Bright and Happy Print that would be sure to Brighten up my Day.
My daughter is currently breast feeding her five week old son Will. I remember from my own experience that it only takes a cry to turn on the taps and little babies don’t mind where you are, if they want to be fed, they want to be fed. having two wet boobs in the line at supermarket can be a little disconcerting. These look like a great product.
i love every one that you make but butterflys are the best
I love green, such a calming colour (which I need with 2 under 2!).
My favourite design is yellow flowers, such a colourful, happy and vibrant pattern!
I prefer white, because most of my bras are light colours. Actually I love all the designs, but the most important reason I love the pads is that they can absorb everything. I remember I was annoyed with breast milk leaking issue when I had first baby. Especially at night time, I didn’t wear bra and the bed and quilt were wetted by breast milk. My next bub will be due in a couple of weeks and I wish these pads would help me out.
I love the butterflies – so bright and cheery, but not too in your face either. Thanks for the giveaway!
I love the blue spots or the yellow floral pattern – both serve a purpose for me! I love how in a disposable world, we can make a difference even with our breast pads!
You’ve Won 🙂
Yay! thank you so much! :o)
The clovers, it’s such a fun print!
The Yellow Flowers are perfect for Spring!
The pink with white spots – so totally girly so I love it!
The yellow flowers print is so colourful & fun! – I’m sure I couldn’t loose that in the middle of the night 😉
i like Butterfly……night time breast pad.
fly little butterfly.
the butterflies because they never cease to amaze me with there colours and zest for life even if it is a very short one
Spots for sure…looks fab
Clovers would lift my spirits and having me thanking my lucky stars for Bambooby!
Blue spots, its eye catching enough that its not over the top and could cleverly hide any leakage spots
All the colourful patterns I adore
but I would choose white
as they won’t show under lightweight tops
Butterflies are gorgeous and deliciate, what better than to save me from social embarrassment
Can’t go past the pink ones 🙂 too cute
Colourful flowers…who doesn’t want flora on their areola?
colourful flowers just cause I like the look and wont be able to see any leaking breastmilk
Yellow flowers for us! ~ because everyday needs a little added funk!
For me “Green Spots” is the one.
My breastfeeding days are far from done.
The quirky shape remind me of my eyes,
on the nights my little man just cries and cries.
Eyes big and round and an odd color,
on the nights he just wants to holler!
These colorful pads would add a touch of humor,
when I get no rest from my loud little “boomer”!
