Toby’s Travelling Circus + GIVEAWAY

Like many homes around Australia we seem to constantly have ABC for Kids playing in the background and keeping our little ones amused. With the new addition of Toby’s Travelling Circus to the already much loved channel Roadshow Entertainment has released the new kids ABC For Kids DVD Toby’s Travelling Circus: Roll Up. Roll Up!

Toby's travelling circus

I learnt to make balloon animals like a true clown!

There has been a lot of excitement in our house over this release and I admit it’s not only from the kids. The fun and engaging animated series is aimed at pre-school children however it is enjoyed by older and younger ages. The DVD consists of 8 episodes full of circus fun and antics which means it is great for keeping your kiddies amused when you need that 5 minutes of quiet time, well it’s actually 80 minutes if you want to get excited too. My boys (aged 5 & 7) have been watching this on repeat and at $19.95 this is a great investment! It has only recently hit the shelves (5th March) and is proving very popular.

Clowns everywhere! This attempt turned out a little creepy (just quietly).

Toby at age 7, is the worlds’ youngest ringmaster and leads his circus as it travels on exciting adventures. Toby and his friends teach and learn how to make the impossible possible while overcoming hurdles and putting on a fantastic show every night.

In the Circus, I’d be the ticket seller in the booth. Having expert experience dealing with kids especially when they all fire a million questions at me at the same time. “OK, just one at a time. Next please”.

  2. Jodie Louw
    09/03/2014 / 12:42 pm

I would be the organiser! I love organising events, but have total phobia about public speaking/performing!

  3. 09/03/2014 / 8:21 pm

If I was on a circus I would be an acrobat or trapeze artist.

  4. Karly
    09/03/2014 / 8:27 pm

Most of my experience in recent years is cleaning up after pets and kids so I’d likely be the cage cleaner.

  5. Karla Oleinikoff
    09/03/2014 / 8:29 pm

Clown. I keep everybody here in stitches with how often I trip over my feet and dropping things, plus I know some REALLY bad jokes. Also, with how frizzy my hair is in the morning, I won’t need a wig.

  6. Belinda Moxey
    09/03/2014 / 8:49 pm

I would be the Ringmaster, I love being the centre of attention and controlling and revving up the crowd would be my ideal

  7. Rachel K
    10/03/2014 / 2:12 am

I’d be a Lion Tamer because lions are a bit like some people – rough, guarded and unapproachable on the outside but when you get to influence and get closer to them you can help bring out their beautiful, sweet and soft inside!

  8. Michelle V
    10/03/2014 / 5:12 am

I’d be a juggler of things big and small
Because being a mum, I juggle all!
    Anything you throw at me
    I’ll try to balance perfectly
There are days when juggling will leave me stressed
But in the circus (just like in life) I’ll try my best!

    10/03/2014 / 8:51 am

I would love to an ribbon acrobat and twirl and swing like in cirque de soleil.

  10. Cathy Stone
    10/03/2014 / 9:21 am

I would love to be a trapeze artist, you need a special talent to do this, love to see the thrill of the audience responding to my peformance and I have always wanted to fly and feel free like a bird, and this would be the closest, I would get to it.

  11. Jocelyn R
    11/03/2014 / 6:47 am

I’d love to work with the animals behind the scenes to make sure they are being treated well and not overworked. I’m a big animal lover and I prefer not to go to a Circus with animals because I’ve heard so many bad things about how they are treated.

  12. Narelle Rock
    11/03/2014 / 10:18 am

I would be the lion tamer, I know how to control someone who is a little unruly and out of control…I have 4 kids after all!

  13. mellie jane
    11/03/2014 / 12:19 pm

A juggler with 4 kids, hubby , jobs in and out of the home i already have it down .

  14. Fiona
    11/03/2014 / 12:34 pm

    A juggler – I am very experienced!

  15. Graham Buckingham
    11/03/2014 / 7:51 pm

I would love to be the person who trains the elephants to do great tricks

  16. Mick G
    11/03/2014 / 9:27 pm

I’d be a great Spruker trying to convince people to see various acts but in reality I feel I’d be the one who kept the animal cages clean 😉

  17. Kasey Evans
    11/03/2014 / 9:29 pm

    Clown –
    I’d entertain the crowd,
Red nose with thick floppy shoes,
    Comic character performance,
    Use magic or juggle,
Satisfying the audience with roars of laughter!

  18. James Sharpe
    11/03/2014 / 11:55 pm

I’d be the clown because I’m always told that I’m funny and crazy

  19. nicole larsen
    12/03/2014 / 10:33 am

A clown, I love to make people laugh

  20. Diana O
    12/03/2014 / 4:14 pm

Trapeze artist would be fun, keep me in great shape too.

  21. Di
    12/03/2014 / 4:16 pm

Clown, I already always make everyone laugh, so why not get paid for it!

  22. Abby Lee
    13/03/2014 / 11:41 pm

A clown as I am great at making people laugh (unintentionally!)

  23. Becky S
    14/03/2014 / 7:46 pm

To give people a show, from my great ‘fish face’ to my walking on my knees act, id have everyone amazed at my talents!

  24. Deb K
    16/03/2014 / 8:29 pm

I always said I’d love a job where my make-up and hair is done for me
So I’d be a clown in the circus
    Bringing smiles all around!

  25. Ally L
    16/03/2014 / 8:43 pm

I would be an usher. I have zero coordination and nobody wants to see me in a Leotard!

  26. Falon Downing
    17/03/2014 / 9:14 am

I’d love to be an acrobat, but I’d probably be a clown!

  27. Samantha Falconer
    17/03/2014 / 11:41 am

I would love to be the person who looked after the elephants. Such magnificent, intelligent, gentle giants. They’re a real show-stopper!

  28. Valerie Wee
    17/03/2014 / 1:02 pm

I would be the Lion because I want to show how fierce I can be but at the same time I am clever to do all kind of dangerous activities in the circus.

  29. rachel
    17/03/2014 / 5:04 pm

I would be a flying trapeze artist. How amazing, flying and spinning through the air.

  30. Jacinta Hynam
    17/03/2014 / 5:12 pm

I think I’d be good as the Ring Master with one of those mega phones because at home I’m always the one talking(or yelling?) to get everyone’s attention! Maybe I should get a mega phone for at home……

  31. Kirsten W
    17/03/2014 / 8:38 pm

The person that cleans up under the stands after the show has finished – just like at home – always cleaning up after everyone!

  32. Alicia
    18/03/2014 / 9:06 am

I would be the clown – I’m always being clumsy which make people laugh!

  33. Maria P
    18/03/2014 / 1:15 pm

Probably the ticket seller. I’m not very adventurous….

  34. Kym
    19/03/2014 / 8:33 am

Trapeze artist – oh what fun to tumble, and fly, and make people go ‘wow’

  35. Daniela Barbaro
    19/03/2014 / 4:48 pm

    The ringmaster

  36. julie bennett

the ringmaster king of the circus

  37. Anna
    20/03/2014 / 6:23 am

    Dreamt for far too long,
    Trapezium I belong!
Fairy; fluttering high in the sky,
    An enchanting role;
fulfilling the desire of “me” yearning to fly!

  38. Leah
    20/03/2014 / 4:13 pm

Game carny – creating a world of illusion – a secret world only for the circus!

  39. Tess Howard
    20/03/2014 / 5:54 pm

Well, as I feel at the moment after changing 100s of nappies, I’d be the elephant pooper scooper! I’m up to my neck! LOL

  40. Monica Scurlock
    20/03/2014 / 9:10 pm

Pooper scooper…looking after the animals! Not much different from my life now! Just kidding…I love animals! 😉

  42. Kylie
    20/03/2014 / 10:28 pm

  43. catriona alison
    20/03/2014 / 10:33 pm

I would be a juggler as its something I do all day,
However Im Sure in the circus id get a better pay,
Or maybe id be a clown,
Taking peoples frowns and turning them upside down,
Whatever my job may be I know that id have fun,
Unless they let the tiger loose and then id have to run.

  44. Rhonda Bates
    20/03/2014 / 10:51 pm

I would be a jack of all trades behind the scenes, i would be doing a lot of different things making sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to do,

  45. Caroline
    20/03/2014 / 11:37 pm

I would be the Greeter into the Circus, handing out leaflets and being friendly to adults and children.

  46. Tanya Clarke
    21/03/2014 / 9:20 am

I be a magician’s assistant and be a part of a disappearing act. It would be great to get some alone time!

  47. Jayne K
    21/03/2014 / 9:44 am

  50. Bonnie Chandler
    21/03/2014 / 3:58 pm

I would be a clown as I am short and that’s about all I could do

  51. Alison Briggs
    21/03/2014 / 8:58 pm

Haha Head Clown. I am super clumsy and can fall over a flat surface better than anyone I know. I certainly couldnt be a trapeeze artist with my co-ordination 😛

  52. Amanda
    21/03/2014 / 9:00 pm

I would be the person who looks after all the animals as that pretty much what I do now with my 3 kids 😉

  53. Sharyn
    21/03/2014 / 9:05 pm

definitely the trapeze artist as i am graceful, slim, look awesome in tights/leotards and i would make the whole crowd swoon with delight and awe and amazement and their cheering for me would bring the big top down (can you tell what i am saying is not me in real life, only in my imagination lol) 🙂

  54. Lynda Kibblewhite
    21/03/2014 / 9:07 pm

  55. Chantelle Cocks
    21/03/2014 / 9:10 pm

I’d be the animal handler because I’m used to wrangling small children so it couldn’t be that much harder, plus I love animals and my 2-year-old animal lover would be so proud of me.
