Child proofing at its best; this latch is impossible for small children to open while remaining very easy for adults to ensure it locked. The Ezy-Check is straightforward, if it is locked correctly a green locked image will appear in the opening and if it isn’t locked it will have a red unlocked image. To close: simply clip shut. To unlock: you have to squeeze the side buttons together and also press the green indicator tab simultaneously (getting that green tab can be tricky if you have large fingers).
Thanks to the extra long and flexible band; this product is great for keeping little ones out of cupboards, toilets, fridges and in our case our top kitchen drawer because that is where we store our cutlery, chef knives and scissors. Dreambaby Door Knob Covers
You know that moment your child discovers they are tall enough to open doors? Well for those with door knobs these door knob covers are a saviour! We have handles on our doors so these were not able to be tested with my daughter however a friend of mine has door knobs and a two year old daughter who loves to test her mothers sanity with her escaping abilities. These covers have stopped their little miss in her tracks as she can no longer turn the door knob.
While these are too hard for little hands to work out, they are extremely easy for adults to grip and turn. They are simple to fit over the door knob and require no tools. These would also be great if you are going on a holiday and want to prevent your child from opening the doors. They are a neutral opaque finish so they will blend in and not take away from the beauty of your home. RRP $7.95 for a packet of 3.

We have all experienced our child running into the sharp corner of the dining table, coffee table, bench, etc. It isn’t pleasant for them or us. These Soft Touch Corner Cushions are a fantastic way to minimise the impact and pain sustained by our little ones when they are running and not watching where they are going. These are small but effective and are very easy to install. RRP $6.95.

My boy loves to explore the home and gets into all sorts of mischief. Injuring himself when trying to access areas beyond his reach. Always ends up badly with cries of help.
Our eldest fell down a flight of stairs, tripped over his own feet. Thank god he’s got a tough noggin like his Dad otherwise we’d have been in trouble.
Yes our oldest tripped on the crosstrainer and split her lip. Off to the hospital for stitches and hubby even told the doctor to put another stitch in as it still was gapping! Silly DR!
Jumping on the bed! (maybe it was the beans I served at dinner)
My daughter tripped and bumped her forehead against the edge of our glass coffee table when she was a toddler and boy we got a huge shock when the bump swelled into a golf ball size! Remembered freaking out she will have permanent brain damage as we rushed her to the hospital. Thankfully she was fine after a while, out goes the coffee table…

My daughter is able to get into almost everything, and is a little escape artist! She’s constantly showing me new things that need child-proofing, so she keeps me on my toes. I could really use a Dreambaby Safety Product prize pack to keep her as safe as I can!

My 4 year old nephew is at the age where he is exploring areas in the house where I tell him not to go and is always hurting himself. I’m surprised to see that he hasn’t had to go the the hospital yet, but as a aunt I am extremely worried. This is why I really want to win, or to be precise, I need to win to guarantee the safety of my beloved nephew .
My little man was walking around in the bath tub (despite me and hubby repeatedly telling him to sit down!) when he slipped and hit his face on the edge of the bath tub, splitting open his cheekbone under his left eye! I’ve since discovered the anti-slip bath strips from Dreambaby and applied them to the bottom of our bath tub to help stop any future accidents.

My son escaped from our back yard one day while my husband was mowing the lawn. Thank god my neighbor was out the front at the time, I have never been so scared in my life!
Hubby and his mate came in the front door and forgot to lock it, and the 1 1/2 year old thought it would be a GREAT time to turn the knob and go exploring. Our almost 3 year old was trying to get hubby’s attention which took a while, until he finally went out the front and found him playing with the front gate right next to a busy road. Needless to say, he hasn’t forgotten since!
my 7 year old has had many injuries with the coffee table. we got rid of it so my youngest doesnt follow after her sister. haha
Miss 3 escaped one day while I was in the shower, she dragged a chair up to the door, took the safety chain off, went outside, she got about four houses up before a neighbour found her and returned her to me. My heart still hasn’t recovered from the shock.
My son tipped over his chest of drawers o top of himself by climbing in the bottom draw. Luckily he escaped with just a bruise and the drawers are now pinned to the wall, but I went into labour and had his sister. I think the shock brought it on.
My kids test my sanity every day with their new adventures and inquisitiveness….why why why why!
when my son was three he tested my sanity by continually going into the fridge getting food out and taking one bite throwing it in the bin…… We bought a child proof lock for the fridge

Definitely need to baby proof the house. Currently babysitting my niece and nephew every second Friday so parents can go on date night, its made me realise what a death trap my house is!
