What an impressive little puppy this is! Leap Frog just continue to churn out toys of wonder and amazement. Not only is this the cutest little friend to hug, hold and carry all over the place but it hosts tons of fun with its interactive songs, sounds and fun phrases enhancing sensory development, eye-hand co-ordination and fine motor skills. I love how it helps introduces the newest generation to the world around them. This sounds like too much fun for just the kids I think I might have to stop in at Myer tomorrow just to have a little bit of a play myself!! Ha, ha!!!

Our little Miss saw Violet and melted. “Ooohh she’s so cute, adordable (adorable). I love her”. So apart from all her other teaching features which will certainly let her interact happily, she just wants her to cuddle and hold. She would get a kick out of then realising she talks and has conversations. Her tea parties will be extra special.

I have a beautiful 3 year old granddaughter who loves a hug and a chat and I think My Pal Scout is ideal for her as he is very cute, adorable and great for teaching children practical things like the alphabet, emotions and children can give Scout hugs.
Considering I’m totally tone deaf which sadly my kids have informed me, I am banned from singing anywhere near them. Even though I’m in denial I better do the right thing and shut up…so as not to traumatize miss 4 so my puppy pat scout needs to take over from me now in the lullaby dept. personalise is the key because my kids and many others have unique names and finally they would have something they will cherish forever and we could add more songs so it will last a lifetime they could then hand onto their own kids

I think it is important that My Puppy Pal teaches kids about emotions, something they really dont know how to express – often it comes out it negative ways but Id hope with Leapfrog play it would change all that.
I too love the customisable feature! With a house of 6 girls, often toys become everyone’s and I’d love for my youngest to have something that she identifies as only hers. Sure she’ll have to – and will hopefully want to – share it, but it’s just nice to have something all of your own, a toy that seemingly KNOWS it’s hers 😛
Definitely the emotions feature – children dont always know how to tell people if they are feeling sad or angry so this will definitely help them express these feelings
I love that you can change the songs … it helps keeps my sanity by not hearing the same song on repeat and it would seem like the dog is alive to my daughter since it has the ability to learn new songs!!!

Victor is always looking for hugs. That Scout asks for one will make his day (after we talk about how sad we are that Scout feels sad etc).
I love that it can be personalised but I think the lullaby function may trump that. I mean if something else is going to out your child to sleep beside you then that is gold (or green in this case!)

I love that leapfrog recognises my sons name…Aspen! It is virtually impossible to find something personalised for him, but knowing this little fella will converse with him by name, teach him feelings and play music as he drifts off to sleep, makes me think all the forthright people that like to tell me his name is “weird” might not be so right after all!

I’m tone deaf. Partner has a stunning voice. I want my ‘littlie’ to hear and enjoy the full range of notes I can’t supply but LEAPFROG Puppy could, along with cuddles and companionship. Our yard is ‘kid fenced’ but, because we live next to a busy highway, a real live pup, though wanted, is not safely possible.
The best feature for us is that Scout is a one-piece toy

Wow, such a clever little pup! My little man Joshua would absolutely love for Scout to keep him company now that his big sisters are back at school. Love that Leapfrog’s My Puppy Pal helps teach littlies about emotional responses. Josh is at the stage of struggling to express himself and deal with emotions which means temper tantrums are often getting the better of him (and me too!). 😀
