Aden + Anais get bubbly & Giveaway

Before our babies are even born we know we want the best for them in life but we are often overwhelmed by the bulk amounts of information and opinions that everyone tells us. This regularly results in confusion about what really is best. We try product after product trying to find what works for us, our babies and children until we discover the one that fits. I have found that brand for skin care and I want to share it with you; not to bombard you with info but so you know that there is this option. The bath and body range I have been using is a new release to the well-known brand aden+anais that are most known for their sleeping bags and swaddles (you have the chance to win some below).

Aden + Anais

I have been using four of their products daily and cannot get enough of them. They are great for the whole family and not just bub. I’ll start with the Aden + Anais bubble bath because everyone loves bubbles, especially babies and children. It is soft on their skin, contains moisturising pawpaw, it’s tear-free and smells of sweet Australian sandalwood. It also creates lots of bubbles without having to use a lot of the liquid which means the 355ml bottle will last a lot longer.

The Mum+Bub hair + body wash is an all in one wash as the name suggests. It is lightly scented and is very soft on skin as well as being tear-free which makes it a fantastic option for kids in the shower. Put a little bit on a washer and they can be cleaned from head to toe with only one freshly fermented pawpaw infused product.

The next two I’m going to share with you are my favourites of the four because they are not only wonderful products for babies but I have found myself using them on a regular basis as well. The Aden + Anais ultra-gentle lotion is exactly that, ultra gentle. Lightly scented of sandalwood this non-greasy lotion leaves your skin (and of course your babies) feeling like silk. This is a staple item for us now.

Lastly is the mum+bub soothing ointment; we have eczema in our family and it flares up every time there is a slight breeze which is really unfortunate as the kids love being outside. I have been rubbing a little bit of this ointment on their cheeks when they start to look a little wind-burnt and within minutes it has returned to soft skin with no redness or dry cracks in sight. I have also been using this on my old elbows as they seem to get very dry and now they are suddenly soft and feel like someone loves them. This has also made a great barrier cream for Poppet to protect her little bottom from nappy rash. Available in 2 sizes: 85g tube which is great for the nappy bag and the ideal nursery size 170g jar.

  • Wow! What a great giveaway!
The kids are not getting anywhaere near these products. I want them all for myself as I love a bubble bath after a hard day at work!. Followed by the ultra gentle local to soak up these crocodile legs!
Once I’m finished with this lot I wont be recognisable!

  • The Mum+Bub hair and body wash be a delight,
get the kids clean with no tears in sight!
A gentle product that cleans both hair and skin,
with no nasties to irritate is a big win!

  • The mum+bub soothing ointment sounds the go for us in our family. Miss 3 gets dreadful eczema behind her knees and on her arms; I suffer on my fingers. This would be a dream if it is ultra efficient in reducing that itchiness and redness. I loathe having to revert to medicated creams with cortisone. The least exposure to this the better. I could also do with some for my feet so they’re soft and hard skin free when I snuggle up to hubby in bed.

  • The Aden + Anais ultra-gentle lotion. I moisturise from neck to toe after I shower and, like your kids it seems, my 6 year old gets mild eczema. Keeping him moisturised goes a long way towards minimising his itchy rash.

  • Mum+bub soothing ointment; Me and my daughter suffer from eczema. Instead of our skin looking like a dry tortoise back, this ointment would be the pefect tonic to give our skin some much needed love and relieve these symptoms, giving us much needed sanity.

    • Oh thank you so much Raychael. I have been off and on the internet the past few days without much time to do a lot so I will pop over now and check out your posts for the week. xx

  • The mum+bub soothing ointment would be fantastic here! It would be great for my dry lips and itchy dry hands which seem to be worse this winter with me being pregnant. It would soothe my 15 month old boy’s irritated cheeks and I would also love this for my new baby due in January- perfect for peeling newborn feet and as a nappy balm for a delicate little bum :) I love that it is made with gentle and natural ingredients like soothing paw paw and I can use it without having to stress about exposing any of us to nasty chemicals. With so many uses it would be very handy to have in the nappy bag!

      • We are all very excited to be having another baby in our home- this will be baby 13 for us! :)
And yes, the Aiden+Anais range of products looks great! I went and had a look at them online and the ingredients are all natural and organic and they sound very soothing :)

  • I’d definitely use the Aden + Anais bubble bath. It would be perfect as I relax in the bath breaking off bits of chocolate, letting each piece melt slowly on my tongue, while the bubbles pop energetically around me. I might even sneak a glass of champagne in on those really stressful days!

  • The Mum+Bub hair and body wash is a brilliant idea, love that it is tear free and we can both use the wonderful product.

  • Mum and bub ointment as we are a family with excema and would love to find a product which actually works!

  • I would love the bubble bath as we all have baths and also would like to try the ointnent as my daughter and myself have eczema and psorises of the skin, the sandalwood scented lotion havent tried yet but would love to.please .thanku.

  • Definately the mum and bub ointment, ive used it before and it is fantastic with dried skin and also helps our little man who has eczma, it also helps nappy rash and bribble rash. Just a fantastic product to have on hand

  • The Aden + Anais bubble bath definitely!

I would use it to relax, unwind and soak in at the end of a long day, and the kids would enjoy a lovely fun filled bubble bath!

  • We would love to try the mum+bub soothing ointment. Eczema is a big issue in our house and with our new little poppet on the way this would be fantastic to try for all of us.

  • The soothing gel sounds awesome, we have sensitive skin in our family, my daughter especially, she’d love a gream that smelled good!

  • The A+A ultra gentle lotion sounds amazing. We’d get the most use from it- everyone loves soft skin

  • The mum and bub hair and body wash sounds superb. My small one showers with me, as will the squish on arrival in a few weeks so I’m all for using the one product for all of us. Saves a lot of fuss and faffing around swapping products for different people

    • The Aden + Anais products are fantastic for sensitive skin. There are so many new bubs lately! It is so exciting, good luck Lisa. I hope everything goes to plan.

  • we would use the Bubble bath for my grand children so I know they are not only having fun but they are safe from harsh chemicals

  • The mum+bub soothing ointment would be much much much appreciated in my house… My daughter suffers from severe eczema and aside from steroid creams to control her out breaks it would be nice to have a soothing cream to put on in between when she first shows signs of red patches! A great solution before her skin gets out of control!

    • B2 had really bad eczema when he was little as well. It’s torture for the poor little buggers. This cream is very good but as I’m sure you know what works for one doesn’t work for all. If you haven’t yet tried MooGoo, I highly recommend that as well. That’s what we used for B2 years ago and it started to clear up is red raw cheeks. Within an hour most of the red had gone from his cheeks. Worth a go if you haven’t already.

  • Thanks for that! Yes I’ve tried a few moogoo products. Some of the moogoo creams take most of the red out of her skin which is good… I just wish there was a miracle cure!
