Christmas with Tiger Tribe + GIVEAWAY

Still looking for Christmas presents for the kids? Or maybe you are super organised and have only got stocking stuffers left to get? I’m sitting on the fence with this one. I always think I have everything but at the last minute I’ll be reminded about something that I was supposed to have gotten for families and friends children but didn’t. Regardless how prepared you are for this festive season Tiger Tribe is definitely worth checking out because they have everything you could want for kids of every age; chances are you’ll find something that you ‘have’ to have. This wonderful Australian business was founded by a husband and wife team with 2 little tigers of their own, so they know first-hand what interests kids and encourages imagination and play.

There are so many wonderful products available that it would take me hours telling you about them all. They have wooden toys, balance bikes, magnetic play, dolls, tea sets, jewellery boxes, handbags, things that fly, Quut (awesome beach toys), party favours, educational activities, baby toys and gifts, and so much more. Because Tiger Tribe are a real family they understand the financial strain that is often placed on the average household and this shows with their prices; many of their items on the website are between $15-$25 making them great party presents. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to review a few of the Tiger Tribe range and am nothing but absolutely 100% impressed!

Kit pax

The Kit Pax – Pirate Ship allows your budding little builders and engineers to create their very own pirate ship from the ground up. This is suitable for ages 3+ as it is very easy to use. Children will have so much fun putting it together; with its simple and unique connection system they will truly feel like they are pirate masterminds. There are many Kit Pax Products available – hospital, fire station, police station, parking lot, doll house and rocket ship. Each one is made from eco-friendly plywood, sourced from plantation forests and uses non-toxic paints making this extremely safe for your little ones. There are hours of fun to be had making the Kit Pax – Pirate Ship.

magna play

What kid doesn’t love magnets? With the Magna Play range you will be able to travel in peace with the kids being kept happily amused. The Robots in Space Magna Play is perfect for the robot obsessed child in your life; they can create and recreate, mix and match to construct their very own designs of robot or build to match the cards image with the ability of magnets. Conveniently stored in a portable tin suitcase, this is the perfect travel companion as it’s always ready to go. The colours are bright, enticing and will provide endless enjoyment for little ones. There are also a wide range of Magna Play available – Treasure Island, Robots in Space, Secret Garden, Things that Go, Forest Fantasy, Creative Creatures, Dress Up Girls, Boys in Town & Jungle Safari.

Something for the girls? Easy done. Tiger tribe have recently released a gorgeous collection of rag dolls that are handcrafted from great quality soft cottons. They are made with the most attention to detail and each have their very own personality and style so each one is unique. With 8 beautiful dolls in total it makes it very hard to pick a favourite but I’d have to say Tilly comes in first for me closely followed by Poppy and Rosie. Each rag doll has an adorable outfit, styled hair and a gorgeous smile. My 5 month old has Tilly and absolutely loves it to death! Due to the quality that Tiger Tribe uphold with all of their products I didn’t hesitate in allowing my baby girl to have her doll before she was 1 year of age (the recommended age is 1+). It has been shown a lot of slobbery kisses, hand holding and hair pulling in its short life (all out of love) and she still looks like she has just been taken out of her stylish gift box. The soft fabrics are great because I don’t have to worry at all about it scratching Hadleys’ skin or hurting her gums when she gets over excited. Girls of all ages will enjoy the company of these adorable dolls.

There are also items that are perfect for stocking stuffers for both boys and girls!! Swirlies are soft, safe to throw and help develop hand eye co-ordination (they are similar to a frisbee). RRP $14.95. Tim the original Flying bird is a fantastic battery free product. He flaps his tear proof wings like a real bird as power is released from the elastic system. RRP $19.95. Fairy stamps are great for the girls; with easy-hold and comfortable grip stamps these are perfect for little hands and to help keep little fingers clean! RRP $19.95. There are even stocking stuffers available for babies (newborn and up) – my favourites are the cheekies! These cuddly little creatures were designed for maximum cuddle power. The Cheekies are available in 3 different styles and 5 different colours and are bound to be a bedtime favourite. RRP $27.95.

As the title suggests there is a giveaway that goes with these review! 1x lucky reader will 1x Kit Pax Pirate Ship ($49.95), 1x Magna Play Robots in Space ($34.95) and 1x Tilly Rag Doll ($39.95). TOTAL PRIZE RRP – $124.85!

What it’s nearly Christmas! HEEELLLPPPPPP!!!! I told my boss I’d love to work full time in the lead up to Christmas and have just realised I need to shop too. Eek! It’s so hard to get to the shops on the weekends without the kidlings, so I’d love to win.

    Liked both pages.
I want to win because I love the portability Tiger Tribes toys offer. We often forget to take his toys with us when we are out and about. Having this in the car will be a lifesaver, especially when we are meeting up with our friends (with kids so they are very understanding), we can actually eat without him screaming of boredom and also be able to entertain their kids too.

Is there anything that a Tiger Tribe makes that isn’t awesome?! We are HUGE fans!
Love this whole prize pack, and winning it would get me out of my rather sticky situation of being terribly unprepared this year! After being made redundant a while back, I’m too scared to say no these days when people offer me work – which lately means I’ve been working nutty hours – & Xmas planning gas gone out the window.
But with these amazing gifts I’d have both kids (boy and girl) covered and I could stop stressing!

  19. Rachel K
    02/12/2013 / 1:36 am

I’d love to win for Tilly Rag Doll. She’d make me laugh and smile as I collapsed into a heap after completing my Christmas shopping!

    02/12/2013 / 11:19 am

My daughter is a tomboy and when she has to dress up for a party she always wears her pirate costume! It’s a good thing, actually, because she now has a little brother who will get to benefit from her tomboyness! She would SWOON if she won a pirate ship and a robot! No silly princess tiaras for her, thank you very much!

  23. Julian
    02/12/2013 / 11:22 am

Our kids are robot-mad and boat-mad would really benefit from this prize! This past weekend we spent most of Saturday making two robots out of our spare boxes and the kids (a boy and girl) had such fun painting the boxes and walking around wearing them and speaking in robot voices! (The toddler didn’t quite succeed in this, but had fun anyway!)

  26. Melissa Jones
    03/12/2013 / 11:32 am

These are great Christmas gifts for kids. My boy has toy cars and planes, but no ships. This pirate ship would be his first maritime collection. Meanwhile, it could cultivate his hands-on skills by building the ship. My boy loves playing fridge magnets and we’re worried that he might scratch fridge surface. Magna Play Robots in Space would save our fridge while inspire my boy’s imagination by creating different robots. And beautiful Tilly Rag Doll would be my baby girl’s first doll.

Dear family friends who have recently lost their house and possessions in the Springwood fires. Starting afresh and only with the bare essentials so far, they are going to spend some time over Christmas with us; away from the reminder and let the kids just have fun. Also they don’t have any Christmas decorations to encourage that Christmas spirit!

She, their dog and little baby were home alone during the fires and made it out by escaping to a spare block next door. The other two children were at Preschool and School and had to stay in temporary care, away from their mum that first night. Still traumatised Miss 3 won’t leave her mums side and hasn’t returned to Preschool. Mr 6 rings his mum twice a day (recess and lunch) from school to check that mum is OK. I would love to treat them with some extra special treats under the Christmas tree. If they don’t deserve some extra love and treats, nobody does.

This fantastic prize has two of my son’s favourite things at the moment, robots and Pirates. He’s only 2.5 and for some reason his father decided to teach him to speak like a pirate. “Argh! Me matey’s”, while swinging his arm up in a pirate manner. He’s mastered the deep, throaty “Argh!” too and it’s pretty funny hearing him say that phrase to his Fisher Price Little people. The robot obsession comes from ‘Barney the dinosaur’; he sings a song “We are little robots” with movements and everything, so of course he goes around singing the song and trying to dance like a robot. I often hear from him “mummy be a Robot too”.

I have a four month old Grandson and one of my sons and his wife are expecting a girl on April 12 next year. I would love to share this prize with either or both of them as time goes on.

  40. Kim

My soon to be 3 year old daughter would LOVE this rocket ship. She loves outer space, building and playing pretend. She pretends to be blasting off and exploring outer space every day. She packs food and explorer gear for her trips and counts down. Then she explores the moon. She would be thrilled to receive this rocket ship, help build it and play with it for years to come! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

In the first week of Christmas shopping, I entered the fray with enthusiasm. In the second week, the enthusiasm has waned and the perfect presents elude me. But hark! Tiger Tribe to the rescue! Storming the wild seas is the perfect pirate gift for JayJay. Stella would adore Miss Tilly. And Victor can never get enough robots. Kids happy. My sanity rescued!

    Disorganised, lacking cash,
the present cupboard has been destashed!
My little matey would love the ship.
to take on his next high seas trip.
The sweet wee Tily we’d give away.
to the Wishing Tree, make someone’s day.

    Magna box I’ve always said,
would suit someone confined to bed
so to our Kid’s ward we donate,
my kids then learn to appreciate!

Or a Robot to be built
    In Space no less!
    With lots of gilt,
    And none of the mess.

And a little Rag Doll called Tilly
to whom my daughter can give cuddles,
    Especially when it’s chilly
    Or jumping in puddles.
