Babies are so tiny and we want to be as gentle as we can with them while providing them with as much protection as possible. We look for soft fabrics, nothing that scratches and most importantly brands we trust to care about our babies. The range by Goumi Kids is full of beautiful baby essentials that work.
I was sent a newborn set by Goumi Kids that includes 1 pair of Goumi mitts, 1 pair of Goumi boots and 1 Goumi hat. They are the most adorable and practical baby accessories I have seen in a long time. They are easy to put on and most importantly they stay on. The fabric is 70% viscose (bamboo derived) / 30% organic cotton blend and 100% cotton for prints which makes them extremely soft and great for both your baby and the environment.
I love that these baby accessories are reversible because it means you can mix and match depending on your babies outfit or mood if you need a bit of a colour pop in your day. Did I mention they are washing machine and dryer safe? This is a must for us and I’m sure we aren’t alone. The newborn sets are available in 3 different prints: Diamond Dots (Cream), Leaves (Pink) and Sketch (Blue) and they are all as gorgeous as one another. If you are only wanting to purchase mittens, booties or a hat you can do this as they are also sold individually. Buying the essential accessories separately also gives the option of a wider range of prints. There are nine vibrant prints available that you can find at the CoolKidz website.

This would a lovely set for my neighbour who is having her 1st baby
It’s good quality – when it comes to babies I don’t compromise on quality or safety!
Visually the products have to be cuter than cute, without any choking hazards.
Safety is always the most important consideration. I shudder when I see some of the product recalls of items for babies and small children.

CONGRATS!! You have won. x
Thank you so much, they are beautiful sets. I would love a pink set please :-). Do I need to e-mail you to notify you of my address and if so what is your e-mail address for that?
Kind regards, Tina.
Buying organic is important to me because it’s free of GMO’s, are not irradiated, improve biodiversity, doesn’t use synthetic pesticides or contaminate waterways and overall is more ethical and safe for baby!
Great quality and soft on the skin
and no nasties lurk within.
Safety is high on the list of musts
If it doesn’t make the cut, then it’s a bust!

Congrats you have won!!
Yay! Thanks so much. Can’t wait.
Quality and gentleness of material and that the stitching looks solid
Quality and softness of the garment and that it is gentle on the skin and no chocking hazards etc but it also has to look cute.
Fit and durability it is for me
Comfort and organic for newborn babies.
Something that lasts is great for mum
To pass it on when bubs is done!
Love that they can go from washing machine to dry. Perfect for busy new mum
That they are totally safe for the baby to use or wear.
That they are gentle on this skin as newborns are so delicate!
Durability Is Very Important To Me When Purchasing Baby Products Because I Want The Product To Last And Keep Baby Comfortable.
Price so many people try and rip off new mums because they want the best for their bubs, love shouldnt have a price!

Congrats!! You have won. x
Comfort and easy on and off are my biggies. I need clothes that the zombie like, slow witted person that I feel like half the time can master!
I feel less is best for me, having the bare necessity. I’m not one for following trends but rather keeping with the basics; carseat, cot, bedding, clothing and food (breastmilk)
Safety is always the most important consideration. I shudder when I see some of the product recalls of items for babies and small children.
(I repeated my entry as I believe I may have used wrong e-mail address on first entry.)
Safety is important to me when purchasing baby products, for obvious reasons. For example, I inspect clothing to make sure there’s no drawstrings that could be choking hazards.
making sure the products are made of good quality fabric so that they won’t leave any irritation
Natural fibres, for comfort, breathability, softness…..and I wouldn’t want to put anything synthetic on my new pure beautiful creation.
Natural and environmentally friendly baby products are top of the list for me!
I want to make sure my future generations have a beautiful world to be!
Quality and comfort ( usually goes hand in hand)….
Well made, comfortable, fire resistant, quality, natural fibres for my ‘itchy’ ‘scratchy’ allergy-prone ‘littlies”
Comfy for baby, and with natural fibres. Also if they come in neutral colours, for when you don’t know what gender Bub will be! 🙂
organic materials, soft for babys skin and easy to put on/off are a must for every bub
these are just adorable not to mention i would be so happy to put mt new little princess in them once she arrives this year, do the booties come in my size too!?!
This would be perfect for my Granddaughter, Thank you 🙂
They are comfortable for baby and will last through 50 washes a day!
Ease of care. You don’t have time to hand wash everything. You want clothing you can just chuck in the machine on the right temperature and spin setting. Thd biggest issue should be finding the time to hang it out!
I look for a quality product, preferably made from a sustainable source, which provides security, safety without compromising on comfort for the little one.
Good quality, colourful, recommended by others mothers and quality approved 🙂
For my new born I would only want the absolute best – safety and quality of the products are the number one most important factors. Makes me squirm seeing seemingly harmless products being yanked off the selves due to faults that went undetected.
Got to be the material or ingredients. You don’t want to spoil a pure, beautiful new human being with chemicals.
Both my daughters had/have horrible eczema, and I can only guess that my next one will be the same, so its essential that whatever I buy doesn’t aggravate this condition. Natural, soft, gentle quality products all the way…
it has to be best for baby and mum
I always think practical first…safe for bubs skin, will the fabric stain, hard to wash, something to grow into…then the look and style are next important! Super safe and super cute!
Practicality, convenience, softness, cuteness, and most definitely, safety! Our bubs need and trust us to make these so important decisions.
The ease of getting baby wear on and off.
When it comes to clothing, I buy products that are soft in texture and light in material.
Baby Joshua would look absolutely gorgeous in this Goumi Newborn set, even if I am a little biased, or a lot.
I think that the quality is deffantly most important when buying baby stuff.
When buying blankets and clothes I always make sure they are soft enough for baby’s skin some cheap outfits and blankets just don’t feel very Nice.
A strong and comfortable material because they will have to be durable for my child
Low allergy products I find the most important,oh and only products and baby items that meet Australian Safety Standards.
For clothing, that its safe, comfortable and wont irritate their skin
aw, these look cute
Size, obviously. (Don’t mean to be cheeky but I have seen kids swimming in too-big clothes or squished into little straight-jackets.) After that, washability. A friend of mine received a super-soft alpaca cardigan from her grandmother, obviously hand-knitted. Absolutely adorable. Used once, it received the full baby treatment and needed hand-washing. Just didn’t happen. The baby should receive the attention; not the clothes!
