BabyBjorn WE baby carrier + Giveaway

Anyone with little kids knows that it isn’t always possible to take a pram with you. Often prams and strollers don’t even fit down isles at the shops so you will need another option. Baby carriers are a great alternative as you have the privilege of having two spare hands. It isn’t a common choice for parents with children older than one though as most carriers only cater to the needs of infants and more often than not parents aren’t aware that there are convertible baby carriers that satisfy the needs of newborns up to approx. 3 year olds. When we go away for a night or two camping or exploring somewhere new the last thing we want to take is a pram and will always opt for a baby carrier, just in case. Poppet is one year old and I have always thought she was too big to be carried in a carrier until we got the BabyBjorn WE; it is a 3 way front and back carrier. 1. Optimal newborn position: this carries your baby high up on your chest and has adjustable head support to ensure stability for your baby. 2. Inward-facing comfort: This is ergonomically designed for both you and your growing little one. 3. Easy back carrying: you can put your toddler (min. 12 months) on your back in one safe and simple motion without assistance.

BabyBjorn WE

The BabyBjorn baby carrier WE has been a life saver these school holidays as we have been fishing, camping and experiencing a night in a cabin at a Big 4 holiday park. We have done so much walking and this carrier has made it hassle-free. Poppet has been able to enjoy the sights and activities while on the move, as well take comfort in not having to walk her little legs kilometres at a time. We started her with the inward-facing carrying as she was tired and she fell asleep almost instantly. She appeared to be so relaxed and comfortable. Once she woke, we were still out and about so swapped her to the back carrying position and she loved being able to look around and see everything. It is basically like a piggy back but I have 2 free hands! Poppet has also slept in this back carrying position on more than one occasion.

I love that it is so easy to swap positions of carrying and that the straps are adjustable enough that I can swap over with Mr C with minimal fuss and it only takes a few seconds to re-adjust the waist belt and shoulder straps to fit you comfortably. The sturdy waist belt and well-padded shoulder straps allow carrying your child in as much comfort as possible. The waist belt enables you to transfer the child’s weight to your hips to relieve pressure on your back and shoulders. Another benefit to the BabyBjorn WE baby carrier is it rolls up small making storing or keeping it with you on the go a breeze. The clips also have a safety click so you know when they are clipped correctly. For more information on the BabyBjorn WE including the stockists check out their website here.

  • I love how versatile and easy to use it is. The concept of turning “Me” into “We” is perfect as before we give birth it is “me”, and after, it’s “we.” The Babybjorn WE carrier, baby and me would make a good team! I’d visit the zoo! I love the Zoo and haven’t been for years. It’s great to see exotic “pets” without all the work! Of course it feeds that internal desire to learn (there are many animals that carry their young this way!) and see something new. It also makes for great exercise that you don’t even realise you are doing as you enjoy yourself walking around.

  • This looks like a great carrier! My Mr 5 is past being able to be carried (at least by me, when I carry him now his feet are in line with my shins!) but I wish that I had spent the extra money when he was a baby for something that was a bit more comfortable.

  • All over the place and instead of me lugging it all around, finally he’d get to keep bub safe and snug while I have my arms free!

  • Walking to the shops, walking to the park, walking walking everywhere! With my first baby, he was SO clingy that I couldn’t even put him in the pram. I was housebound until a friend loaned me her baby carrier and it was amazing. So good for my physical recovery from labour and mental health to combat those overwhelming baby blues. With another on the way I’ve told my husband that we simply have to budget for a baby carrier. It’s a must-have. And the BabyBjorn WE looks amazing!

  • Dropping the master at school
and to the park for a play.
I’d wear her out at night
    and everywhere during the day.
    Walks and play dates
    grocery shopping and fete’s
    With comfort and ease
    wherever WE please.

  • Up to the shops with Baby number 3
Comfy, lightweight and with both hands free
Wear to the park so I can hold the big ones hands
Snug for the baby whilst meeting my toddlers demands!

  • Given the chance! To run around and dance!
Hands free with bub close to heart
WE would go for a stroll at the beach
with toddler and bub at hands reach!
I would go to the park and keep up!
No pram keeping Mr 2 waiting
    no more complaining!
WE would go to on an adventure!
    Every single day!
Even a hike down by the lake stream.
WE’D watch the clouds, making dreams!
My world only a arm and heart beat away!
    Everyday a grand day!

  • Down to the local Westfield Shopping Centre, around it and back home again, no problems with this prize.

  • I’ve actually been wanting to get a baby carrier so I can take my little girl up 1000 steps Kokoda trail in Mt. Dandenongs, Vic. I train there now and then but would love to challenge myself even more with adding a few extra kgs ;P

  • Oh these are awesome. My daughter will be making me a grandma in April and she was just checking these out in the store the other day! I plan to spirit that little munchkin away to give her some nice breaks and it would be cool to know there was an easy carrier on hand that covers such a range of age groups. SEND. IT. TO. ME. PLEASE!

  • Wow what an awesome contraction. We love it especially my hubby who loves the no nonsense and no frills!

  • After 12 years of waiting I am finally getting a new nephew. I would love to win this for my brother and sister in law. This way they can enjoy family outings stress free with the BabyBjorn WE. I’ll never miss out on seeing our new family member.
BabyBjorn has the most trustworthy reputation, I wouldn’t put my precious cargo anywhere else.

  • Right now I’d go straight to my kitchen sink and do the dishes that are waiting for me to have two free hands lol. Seriously though, this would honestly make life so much easier in so many ways, just to be able to do everyday things, like take my other kids to the park, or on day trips to the zoo or aquarium. My little princess is only happy if she’s touching me so this could be the ideal solution.

  • Here, there and everywhere. I would use it every day.
The park, the shops, on outings, whenever we’re away.
Struggled with my last child, arms were always sore
The BabyBjorn We baby carrier – I really would adore!

  • As a foster mum this would be great for the next baby I get. It gets hard trying to push a pram plus hold other little hands especially when it is time to cross the street. With this baby carrier, Baby is safe and secure and I have two free hands to assist the older kids. Great for outings and shopping.

  • I’d go on a long coastal walk with my toddler! At the moment she gets too tired to walk by herself and strollers are out of the question with all of the stairs. I’d love to win this (pick me, pick me please!).

  • The park! I recently took my newborn and 2 year old to the park. Newborn in a pram and the 2 year old did a runner towards the road… terrified me to leave my baby in the pram bogged in the sandpit and chasing my 2 year old so he didn’t get skittled! If I had a baby carrier, we both could have chased him down!

  • Along Bondi’s shore,
How could one ask for more.
The scenes, the ride, the atmosphere,
I wish Summer lasted all year

  • we are going on holidays to queensland, the babybjorn would be perfect! will be able to do so much more with the bjorn and so much easier than taking a stroller.

  • My mother-in-law’s house. It’s always an adventure and with this BabyBjorn WE Carrier we will be prepared for a quick getaway!

  • This would be perfect for walking the big kids to school, our baby would love a piggy back ride!

  • Shopping!! It would be so easy to meander around the shops or do the groceries without a cumbersome pram!

  • The amazing BabyBjorn baby carrier WE and I will go shopping as a girl can never have too many shoes!

  • These funky and practical carriers would allow me to go almost anywhere ‘hands-free’ but I’d mostly love to try it on our local nature walking trails.

  • I’d go shopping – because the WE’s stylish enough to get my husband to carry the baby, and I would be free to try on clothes without trying to navigate a pram through my favourite boutiques!

  • I can start getting outdoors and walk around exploring some hills, valleys and national parks.

  • We do a lot of bush camping and bush walking, but when we had our first baby we stopped. Now we’re having our second bub, I’d love to give a carrier a try so we can reignite our passion for walking again!

  • I’d go on holidays! Its lightweight and takes up much less room than a pram. I could take my Baby Bjorn WE to the beach but there’s no way I’d get a pram on the sand.
I could go shopping and have two hands free too.
I could and would take my Baby Bjorn WE EVERYWHERE

  • We’re going to Kalbarri for Christmas, this would be ideal for hiking in the national park there. Along with everywhere else!

  • On a daily power walk :) Losing baby weight can be hard work but this way I can take her with me and get on the right track :)

  • Shopping wouldn’t be a chore,
    I’d be hands galore!
    No worries with shelf grabs,
In the carrier she can’t nab!

  • Setting up the the pram just to go to the pram or trying to balance bubba on my hip is to hard with my Rheumatoid and Lupus. Baby Bjorn would mean I can have 2 hands free to do what I need to do and take the stress and weight off my joints.

  • We’re travelling overseas with baby to visit relatives, so BabyBjorn’s safe and streamlined design is perfect for navigating through those uneven, narrow streets and chaotic crowds!

  • Wrangling my four kids up can be difficult while pushing a pram. It can also be restricting to where you can fit and go. To be able to carry my youngest around with me without my arms feeling like their about to drop off would be amazing. What a great carrier.

  • The beauty of this carrier is that you can go EVERYWHERE! No need to ensure a place is ‘pram friendly’, Let the adventures begin!

  • Such an amazingly convenient and beautiful carrier that would be an incredible asset to have. I love all of the benefits and features of this carrier.

  • To the shopping centre dressing rooms so I can have the baby in the carrier and me trying on some great pairs of jeans!

  • Oh the places we would go-
To the backyard to hang the clothes out,
And to visit the horses- without a doubt.
To take his older brother to the park,
And on a nature walk in the dark.
To the zoo for a great day trip,
Snuggling in for a nice, long kip.
Oh the places we would go!
