This is an age group I haven’t yet had to purchase for where girls are concerned as my daughter is only one. However there are so many things available for them. I have shared all my favourites (and those of the girls I know) in this Christmas gift guide for girls.

You cannot beat Barbie. I think at one point in our lives we have all had one and I’m sure for generations to come little girls will still ask for them. I love that Barbie is affordable and you can get them almost everywhere. RRP $10.00

 

What young girl doesn’t enjoy beads? Better yet why wouldn’t she and her friends love threading them on their hair? The gift that keeps on giving. Available from many retailers but currently available at Toy Universe (online) for only $13.50.

Glitter nail art – it’s the first step to growing up. They get create their own nail art and will look very cute doing it! It’s the non-toxic, low odour, kid-friendly polish young girls will love. Available from OnlineToys for $29.99.

 

The Flutterbye Deluxe Flying Fairy is one of those fantastic toys that just keeps impressing. Give her a gentle twirl and watch the rainbow lights and her skirt twirl. Barbie has hit the DVD’s again and this time she is sharing an amazing experience filled with fabulous fashion, fantastic songs and many new friends. In this new adventure Barbie (a princess named Tori) magically trades places with her favourite pop star, Keira.
Everything starts out great until an enchanted secret is stolen and puts the kingdom in danger.
Will their friendship be enough to save the day?


This sounds like the perfect movie for any Barbie lover! Every little girl I know wants to be a princess or pop star of some sort. I remember growing up wanting to be a famous singer – let’s just say I haven’t found the break I’m looking for and I may be forever destined to only let out my inner awesome in the shower or car.  

Not only does this DVD sound like a lot of fun but the underlying message is even better ~

The best thing you can be is yourself!
