Challenging Children: Success with Homeopathy

24/03/2014 By All Mum Said 34 Comments

I have recently finished reading a book that outlines and encourages a drug free approach to the treatment of not only health problems but also emotional issues.  Challenging Children: Success with Homeopathy offers hope to everyone living or working with children from page 1. This book is full of  inspiration, success stories and the paths they took to overcome and improve the struggles and issues they were experiencing. I love that it is written in a way that every mum and dad will understand; it has been stripped of all the lengthly explanations and scientific jargon leaving only the important information and words you can actually pronounce. Linee Jordan, the writer of Challenging Children understands that parents don’t often get a lot of time to read and has written this book in a way that you can open it up and start from almost anywhere. If you or your children are interested in finding out more about Homeopathy or would like to understand it further this is a great place to start.

Some of the challenges this book shares success stories of include but are not limited to childhood behaviour, developmental delay, emotional problems, highly sensitive children, ADHD, anger, anxiety, autism, fears, bedwetting, delayed speech, nightmares, OCD, separation anxiety, tantrums, allergies, asthma, bedwetting, digestive problems, ENT, eczema, tics and twitches.  Challenging Children shows how powerful and effective Homeopathy really is. If you cannot wait for the giveaway to end and want a copy now click over and purchase it here.

Washing For Sensitive Skin + Giveaway!

03/07/2013 By All Mum Said 61 Comments

With the birth of my baby girl 3 weeks ago it made a lot of things become relevant again in our house. For example I forgot how sensitive skin can be sometimes, especially on new babies and that sometimes the washing powder or liquid you use may be too harsh. When my first son was a baby his skin broke out in rashes and it took me a long time to work out what it could be from; we swapped bath wash, stopped using fabric softener, tried creams to stop it, tried different materials but nothing worked. It wasn’t until later when we purchased a different washing powder because our regular one wasn’t on special that we discovered that was the cause of the rash.

Since that day we have remained cautious of what washing detergent we use and as luck would have it Cold Power released their new Sensitive Touch just in time for me to start washing baby clothes, towels and blankets again. Cold Power Sensitive Touch are proud partners of the Eczema Association of Australasia so you know it is hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested and is free from perfumes making it perfect for sensitive skin. I love that it works best with cold water which ultimately saves me money on my electricity bill and is as simple to use as pouring the recommended dose into the washing and letting it do all the work. You can find out more information on how to wash smarter here: http://www.washsmarter.com.au. I am extremely impressed that it not only cleans our clothes with no extra effort but it also leaves them feeling softer than I expected. This product will now be a regular on our shopping list! The Cold Power Sensitive Touch is available in powder and liquid form for both front and top loaders. It can be purchased from supermarkets across Australia for $14.99 (2kg/2L).
