This week I have had a sick little girl here this week along with the usual crazy schedule that I have. No big spiel this week but I did still want to share with you all the meal plan for this week ( Meal Plan Week 38 – 2014 ) and let you know that there are few pretty cool giveaways running. Winners for the closed competitions will be chosen very soon, as soon as I find a spare 30 minutes – I promise!

Meal Plan Week 38 – 2014

Week commencing (15/09/2014)

Monday: Wedges with bacon, cheese, sour cream and shallots. – So not healthy but so delicious!

Tuesday: Lasagne pasta with vegetables.

Wednesday: Baked teriyaki chicken legs with smashed potatoes and salad.

Thursday: Curry mince and vegetables on toast.

Friday: Hotdogs

Saturday: Savoury noodles with asian greens.

Sunday: Spaghetti and meatballs.

While not every thing in this weeks meal plan ( Meal Plan Week 38 – 2014 ) is healthy, it is fast and tasty. On busy and hectic weeks like this we need to have a few quick meals available and if we don’t have vegetables one night we ensure we do the next. Every week I will share with you the menu I prepare at home for my family and am more than happy to provide recipes, pictures and tips for any of them. If you are interested in  a specific recipe or even something entirely different I am more than happy to share some wonderful fail safe recipes that I have personally tried and tested. I’d love for you to leave some comments below if you liked something you saw or you have tried one of the ideas and would like to share your thoughts.

What have you got planned this week for dinner? Was there anything in my menu that caught your eye?

Check back each week for the new meal plan.

I love the menu plan. Have you made the lasagne already? Do you fry the wedges or bake them? And can I please come over for dinner?

Thanks Tamara! We have lasagne at least once a month as the kids love it. We bake the wedges as there is enough unhealthy stuff in the bacon and cheese on top. hahaha I don’t see why you can’t come for dinner 🙂

Good one! I think I should start doing this, would make me keep track of my diet!

Yeah its great for a few reasons. You track your diet, can be organised with what you need to take out of the freezer ahead of time and great for budgeting when buying groceries.

I love meal planning! I’d quickly lose my dinner mojo without it.

I find it just makes dinner time so much more organised.
