Sick of using that tatty old suitcase you’ve had for years when you travel? I was too which is why I swapped it something more upscale and stylish – the Storksak Duffle Bag.
I travel a lot for both work and pleasure. With and without the kids. I need travel bags that are durable, versatile and most importantly convenient. I have been using the Storksak travel bag for a couple of months now on long road trips, plane flights and just weekends away. I wanted to ensure I used it enough to provide honest and conclusive thoughts in this Storksak Duffle Bag review.
Storksak Duffle Bag review
The Storksak duffle bag is perfect for any style of travel – romantic getaways, family vacations and overnight business trips. It would also make a gym bag or hospital bag those having a baby!
Duffle bag quality
The quality of this bag is exactly what I have come to expect from Storksak – durable and surprisingly lightweight. It has taken a beating when checked as airline baggage and camping with the family, with not a scuff on the fabric.
The two-way zipper is thick, has leather pulls and runs smoothly. I cannot fault the stitching on it anywhere – the bag itself, the handles or interior.
The duffle travel bag is generous in size but can be expanded for extra volume if needed. Not only does it offer ample luggage space, it is also space saving so when not in use it can be folded to ¼ of its size!
Lots of storage is an essential for me when purchasing bags. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a travel bag, nappy bag or handbag. Lots of storage is a must-have. The Storksak duffle bag ticks this box.
- Exterior: there is 1x exterior pocket – zipped. (Passport pocket perhaps?) Dimensions: 19cm x 17cm approx.
- Interior: in addition to the large luggage space, there is 3x large interior storage pockets. One side has 2x open pockets (each at 24cm x 20cm approx.) and on the opposite side there is a full-length mesh pocket that’s zipped.
The Storksak Duffle Bag comes with a long detachable shoulder strap in addition to standard handles. In addition to front adjustable webbing straps for carrying garments, jackets or blankets. This feature is very handy!
The travel duffle comes standard with the Storksak patent pending hanging organiser. This gadget allows you to pack, hang up, and use without unpacking. I have used this many times when checking into hotels because it is so handy. It does add almost 1kg to your luggage weight so if you have a set luggage allowance keep this in mind.
There is also another zipped bag included with a mesh lid – I have been using it for my shoes but it would also be great for toiletries or delicates.
Cleaning is really easy as Storksak have used their signature striped wipe clean lining. I have only needed to spot clean the exterior a couple of times and I just wiped it down.
- Leather luggage tag
- Internal key clip
I love the Storksak Duffle Bag! I love everything about it – from the colour options being unisex to the leather trim. The storage, the quality and of course how stylish it looks! I didn’t find one thing that I didn’t like about the duffle.
Where can I buy the Storksak Duffle Bag
