Relaxing LIFE chair + photo bomber = GIVEAWAY
I don’t know about you but the kids in this house seem to take up so much space when they sit their tiny arses on the couch! I end up sitting on the computer chair because Mad Dad has sprawled himself along the other lounge and of course there is no space left for me. I am usually at the computer anyway but that is not the point. Sometimes I like to just chill on the couch with the laptop and relax a bit!
Lucky for me the wonderful people at LIFE have kindly provided me with an awesome Coast Bean Bag! Oh and did I mention I have 1 to give away to one of you awesome Mad Mummas Sweet Randoms readers? Well I do! More about that soon – first I want to tell you how awesome this chair is!

^^Meet Kye – AKA photo bomber!^^

I remember having bean bags as a kid ~ you know the ugly, cheap thin material kind? Let me put it this way, this bean bag is nothing like that! It made from tough poly fabric in gorgeous colours, it also has an air escape so it is super comfortable and my husbands favourite feature 1 pocket either side for earphones, remotes or in my case the ipad (thanks little man for discovering it fits!)
I cannot say enough about how comfortable, durable and not at all ugly these bean bags are. LIFE has surely thought of everything when designing the range. They have many different styles for adults and kids so no one misses out!
They even provide the paper clip!
You can find their website

The worst place I’ve had to sit is in the car as a child when my Dad farted and then locked all the windows!
Worst place I have ever had to sit… hmmmm.
Probably in a car next to a drunk guy named Rover who just vomited in my lap.
The things you do for friends, eh?
(and totally true story. I made him show me his licence and everything. I kinda felt sorry for him being called Rover and all that but not enough to NOT convince him that he had to pay for a new outfit cause NOTHING was going to get the stink outta that dress)

The worst place I’ve ever had to sit was in a teeny tiny wading pool filled with about 3cm of filthy dirty water… My partner and I had to share this pool for a good couple of hours too!
It was when we went to Sydney Harbour to attend Hamish and Andy’s BYO Pool Party a few years ago. We were provided with this little inflatable pool to sit in which had been pre-filled with a small amount of water that quickly became home to dead bugs, dirt, a used band-aid and who knows what else… It was so totally feral!

in the car with my Dad on a trip from Adelaide to Melbourne, 9hrs of him ‘trying’ to sing, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel and grabbing my knee saying…can you ride a horse!

Worst place I have ever had to sit was in the back of a police car and driven home after a car accident where my car was wrecked. My neighbours had a field day watching me get out and go inside with the police!
we had broken down in the bush and needed a ride home so we got a ride with a pig farmer who had a ute full of carcases wehad to sit with this or walk to the nearest town guess what we did and boy did i shower and the smell omg

I had to sit in my boyfriends car when I was younger and stupid…the seat wasn’t bolted in properly and kept sliding while we were moving, I think about it now and realise how silly it was!

I used to have to sit on the (unpadded mind you) handlebars of my brothers bmx to get to school, very uncomfortable and he never made it enjoyable, I think he got a kick out of trying to make me fall off!

sitting on the floor of the lounge room because there weren’t enough chairs for us (we didn’t have enough money for a decent lounge suite.)

I had to sit on an unpadded broken seat on a local African bus for almost 9 hours over atrocious roads with someone’s baby and a chicken on my lap for the entire trip, just to get 120 kms up the road!
On the road trip from hell, 2000 kms, many flat tyres and everything that could go wrong with the car did.

Worst place I’ve had to sit is “on the fence”… I hate confrontation, I try to avoid an argument at all costs, so I partially agree with both sides which always ends up with both parties getting angrier with me than each other just because I won’t take sides and I get accused of being a fence-sitter, gutless, spineless & weak when all I really wanna do is keep the peace!

I’m not sure you could call it sitting (squatting was more like it!) but at a remote train station in Egypt, the toilets were the foulest I’d EVER encountered after years of travel! I still dry retch thinking about it!

sitting in the car from Melbourne to Adelaide, with a 10mth old baby who didn’t want to be in her seat, the screaming did not stop the whole way!

Worst place I’ve ever had to sit – Sleep deprived sitting on the end of my bed half asleep nursing a new baby with 2 snoring todlers and a snoring husband in the bed behind me.
Hubby Wakes in the morning all bright eyed asking if id had a good night…….. Dead man walking!
I had to sit on a plane covered in my baby girls vomit for at least 40mins before it landed and I was allowed to take my seat belt off!

I have many worst sitting places from backpacking days in Southeast Asia. Most memorable was being concertinaed in the back of a truck meant for 10 that contained at least 30 people plus sacks of rice, onions and several chickens, for HOURS on winding moutain roads, in the dead of night. Not very pleasant, but interesting to say the least
Plus many other horrible journies during which I dreamed of a bean bag such as this to stretch out on

The worst place I have ever sat would be on a nature strip in St Kilda, Melbourne. I had arranged to meet my boyfriend (now husband) in a particular place (as he is Greek and his parents didn’t approve of an “Aussie” girl)however he was late, yes typical male! I was waiting for some time and became tired so sat on the nature strip. I was all dressed up, heels, make up and a short dress! The next thing I know a car full of young men drove pass slowly, then came back and they started hassling me, telling me to get in and then the question that shook me – “How much?”…I was horrified, they actually thought I was a prostitute!
I got up and started walking away, not knowing what to do, when I sighted a familiar car – my boyfriend/husband! I was so angry with him, yet so relieved he wasn’t any later. It turned out that part of the street was known for prostitution, pity it wasn’t known to me!!!!

Many years ago, my 17 year old boyfriend thought it would be so romantic to take me to a lookout point at Manly overlooking the water – sitting on the rocks at night in the freezing cold, it was only a few seconds before the smell of the “waste” depository next door began to waft in our direction. Least romantic date ever!
Sitting in hospital waiting rooms prior to have procedures done always tops the worst. Especially waiting for colonoscopys because you just know that before too long the doctor is going to be sticking a camera up your butt and dear god who wants that to happen.
Probably on an airplane for 14hours, airport for 10 and then an airplane for another 8….yuck.
I had to sit on a broken toilet once in a hotel while on holiday. The toilet had a crack in the seat, so as I sat down that crack became wider and as I moved to get comfortable my bum cheek got stuck in the spilt seat. My goodness did that hurt!!!! I could not move because my bum was stuck in this crack. I was there in this position for around 30minutes until finally I got up. I had the sorest bum and leg. It was bright red.
On a rollercoaster! I cried and wanted to get off. I was 25 and thought I had gotten over the fear of falling off rollercoasters and breaking my neck. I found out that day that I was still afraid! NEVER again!
Worst place ever was while waiting for my appointment at the hospital, 30+ weeks pregnant with twins. i was directed to a bench outside the doctor’s room, about 25cms wide, completely flat and very very shiny, slippery surface. My rather large, nylon/lycra maternity clad arse did not want to stay on the bench at all. Must have been a pretty sight, slip sliding my way towards the floor repeatedly.
We live in a Motorhome. At dinner time there is NO where to sit…so I usually sit on the floor – next to the bunkbeds on one side/shower on the other and eat my dinner! While our boys take up all of the lounges
I love it when its hot outside to eat.
That bean bag is the bomb!

The worst place I have had to sit is in front of a blocked urinal! I had to disconnect a hose tap and because of the awkward position had to sit in front of this disgusting man toilet to fix a leaking tap. So gross!
I had to sit in the dentists room while my mum had her two front teeth pulled…talk about horror nightmares that followed!
Having to sit in the waiting room of the hospital when in labour with my third child as they had to finish cleaning the room from the previous delivery. Though not much sitting was done as I was too busy trying to pace through the contractions. There was a lot of worried people though.
My boyfriend fancied having a panel van – the closest he could get was a Mini with a seat removed. This meant that when we picked up his Mother from work in the afternoons. I had to sit on the floor!

Picture this, a hot day at the beach me sitting under a beach umbrella trying to breastfeed my bub, very sandy and not very comfy for bub or me

My hubby had to sit on a plane from Melbourne to Sydney sitting next to a guy who kept throwing up. there where no spare seats on the plane so he had to put up with it
When I was younger (3 years old)we where coming home from Japan and we where on the plane and the seat belt sign had just gone on, i remeember tugging on my mothers arm and then throwing up all over myself. i had to sit like that until the plane landed, and even then, I couldn’t get changed until we got the bags. then as if the day couldn’t get any worse, my Grandparents who where picking us up, LOST the parking ticket so I had to sit in the hot, stinky car for about half an hour
The naughty corner. My kids put me in the corner because I (accidently) swore. They figured if they had to go sit there when they were naughty, then I should have to as well! I guess they have a point!
worst place i sat was next to my little sister in the back of the car when she projectile vomited masses of fruit loops. mum thought they would be a good snack, so she gave us the whole box. to this day my sister cannot stand the smell of fruit loops…

In the late 1990’s I was stuck in an elevator hotel in Brazil with 15 other people and the elevator was only suppose to hold 12 Maximum! We were stuck in there for about 3 hours which felt like 3 days and the worst part was no one could speak English and back then my mobile had no mp3 or radio to listen to pass the time away. Along with the heat we all sat adjacent to one another which produces more heat, oh the nightmare…

when going to school one day the property owner’s horse chased me up a big gum tree and stayed there snorting and circling the tree until it was noticed by my Dad who came and put it in the stable so I could get down. Not overly bad I bet you say but that wasn’t until 5ish in the afternoon – 11 hours after I first took my position on a very shaky and bumpy branch and the fact that I was only 6 years old
