Epson LabelWorks LW-400 + GIVEAWAY

09/02/2015 By All Mum Said 43 Comments

The kids may have already gone back to school however the need for organisation is needed all year round. The Epson LabelWorks LW-400 label printer is a must have for every household; this powerful label maker takes organisation to another level.

Epson LabelWorks LW-400

The Epson LabelWorks LW-400 is packed full of amazing features that will have the most unorganised person leading a more efficient home. As it is so simple to use I didn’t hesitate in letting the kids create some labels on their own for their toy storage tubs in their bedrooms. I have created a few labels to help me arrange the power cords on my desk with ease, make my filing more organised and easy to locate what I am looking for. The pantry is always reasonably organised (as you would expect from two former chefs) however once the kids put the groceries away there is always certain things that are put in the wrong places. A few little labels later and we have sorted this issue out.

Key features & Benefits

* Huge variety – 14 fonts, 10 styles, 300+ symbols, 75+ frames and so much more.

* Caters to all label making need – prints labels up to 18mm wide, has the ability to print up to 4 lines of text allowing more space to enhance your design through frames and symbols.

* Speciality print modes – with a variety of tab, flag and wrap styles that are perfect for cables (like the power cords shown above) and much more.

* Less wastage – the margins are smaller compared to other brands which results in up to 60% margin waste.

*Speciality labels – the label maker is suited to a wide range of label tapes. Strong adhesive, glow in the dark, iron-on and fluorescent tapes for everyday labelling in and the home/office.

*Asset tagging – you can easily print barcodes for products and merchandise.

As mentioned above – it is incredible easy to use! From changing the tape to printing the labels, it is very simple. To change the tape simply remove the old cartridge and push the new one into the empty space. To print simply type what you want it to say on the label and press print. Press the scissors button on the side to cut the tape and your label is now ready to use.

I love how quiet this little beast is and that you can customise projects, gift cards, wrapping paper and ribbon within a matter of seconds! The Epson LabelWorks LW-400 is ideal for busy Mums and Dads who want organisation and an easy, efficient way to label products for the home, office and school. So you don’t have to go hunting, the LW-400P and ribbons are available at Officeworks.

Peli’s Bathtub Play Pouch

06/02/2015 By All Mum Said Leave a Comment

Keeping the bathtub toys tidy is a constant struggle. You want something practical but also something that is easy for the kids to put their bath toys away. We have always had a small tub on the edge of the bath for the kids to tidy their things up but now Dreambaby have released a fun way to store bath toys. Meet Peli’s Bathtub Play Pouch.

Peli’s Bathtub Play Pouch faces both ways on most bathtubs. Unfortunately mine is one of the tubs it doesn’t and are restricted to it facing in the bath as we have a tiled edge on our tub. Having it facing outwards would be fantastic for storing baby’s and toddlers dirty clothes or keeping a stash of washers at arms reach. The net bag is removable as well so you can simply take it out and through it into the washing machine every so often to keep it clean.

I love how easy Peli’s Bathtub Play Pouch is to install. The adjustable brackets make it simple to sit over the edge of the bath tub and adjust it until it is tight enough to hold on. The adjustable brackets fit bath sides up to 13cm. Being able to air dry the kids bath toys is so much easier than having to make sure they aren’t filled with water or having to give them a wipe down prior to packing them away. Children simply open up Peli’s mouth, put their things inside and close his mouth again. It doesn’t get much easier than that. Because Peli is so fun he will have the kids wanting to put their toys away without being asked.

For more information and stockists of Peli’s Bathtub Play Pouch check out the Dreambaby website or purchase here from Shop 4 Kids for $39.95.

NitWits All-In-One + GIVEAWAY

28/01/2015 By All Mum Said 31 Comments

School has now returned and the kids are back in class. Yay for parents and their sanity! Unfortunately with school resuming it means that nits/head lice have now got a very large breeding buffet. Those pesky little critters make everyone itch at just the thought of them – I bet you just scratched your head didn’t you?!

Most families have methods they have tried and in their efforts to deter nits they have been unsuccessful. Some families are extremely lucky and have found the magic potion that works for them. If you are still in search of the solution that works for you and your kids then there is no harm in trying NitWits All-In-One. This headlice spray works in 20 minutes thanks to its fantastic fast action formula.

Head lice are common and can be very hard to get rid off. While I haven’t needed to use the All-In-One treatment yet, I have got it ready and waiting to kill the headlice and their eggs. The NitWits treatment claims that no combing* is required which sounds more than amazing to me because besides the itching that is the worst part. *The eggs will stay glued to hair unless combed out but the eggs are dead after this all-in-one treatment. The NitWits All-In-One has a very pleasant smell and is not overpowering at all. The spray works great and is very easy to use.

The only downside I have found is that the bottle is only 120ml which is quite small but has a $22.95 price tag on it, I’m sure you could find it cheaper than that somewhere on sale though. This formula is kind to kids but not nice to nits and being 100% Australian Owned is just the cherry on top of this great product.

Want more information on the NitWits range and stockists? Or want to connect with NitWits on Facebook?

Prize Includes: 2x NitWits All-In-One. Total Prize Pool $45.90.

**As the winners are chosen based on skill and not chance; you will be sharing for 0 extra entries however I’d love you to share the giveaway with friends and family. Sharing is caring and karma loves kind people. **

OMO Goodness It’s Clean in a Jiffy + GIVEAWAY

16/01/2015 By All Mum Said 85 Comments

You may remember back in November when I shared my great day that took a turn for the worst. Well on that day I met two lovely ladies representing Unilever. I discovered that many of my favourite and most used household products were in fact a Unilever brand. Omo, Surf and Comfort are the laundry brands I tend to stick with because they have proven themselves time and time again.

The school that my boys attend have chosen white uniforms which is quite unfortunate for every parent that is required to keep these shirts stain free and bright. It can be an absolute nightmare because for some reason the dirt seems to be attracted to them or the kids (I’m not sure which is dirtier at the end of the day).

 Omo Ultimate

I have used Omo for their uniforms for years because it is more effective at removing stains than many others I have tried. At the event I attended in November I was made aware of the new Omo Ultimate and was given some to take home and try out. YES YES Omo Goodness YES!! is all I have to say.

The Omo Ultimate is the best liquid washing detergent I have used. I say this with conviction because instead of having to race to soak and treat stain/spills as soon as they occur or risk them being ruined, the new Omo Ultimate actively lifts stains even 48 hours after they happen. I am not someone who has always got the laundry washed, folded and put away as I have more exciting things to do with time. This is why I love this new product so much, it’s like it understands we don’t want to spend hours doing laundry and does as much of the work as possible. Now if only there was a product that folded the clothes and put them away, I’d be sorted! RATING out of 5 – I give it a 4.5. It does a great job and smells divine but $12.99 for 1L is a little pricey.

Jif Easy Lift Spray

When I think of Jif my mind instantly takes me back to my childhood and I can see the yellow bottle of Jif Cream. Jif has come so far from those days and now has a great range available that minimises the amount of work required to keep your home clean. The new range of Jif Easy Lift Spray softens and detaches dirt making it as easy as wiping it clean. No more scrubbing for hours. I cannot verify the kitchen or mutlti purpose spray however if the Bathroom spray is anything to go by your home will be clean in a Jiffy (<

In my bathroom I have black tiles so water marks, soap residue, etc. shows up and obviously because these mark white it looks horrible against the black gloss. I thought there was no harm in giving the new Jif Easy Lift Bathroom spray a go and I’m so glad I did. I sprayed the shower after my husband had been in there so it was wet enough to scrub if needed and left it for a couple of minutes while I got my cloth ready to wipe it down. I didn’t need to scrub it. Everything just wiped clean. I couldn’t believe it. Streak free, dirt free, effort free! RATING out of 5 – I give a 4. It does exactly what it claims to do, it is affordable but it is a little strong on the nose if you have the shower door closed while cleaning.

For more information on these 2 great products please visit the OMO Website or the OMO Facebook page.

Prize Contains: 1x Jif Bathroom 750ml Spray (RRP 6.49) & 1x Omo Ultimate 1L (RRP $12.99) (Total Prize Pool $19.48)

Everloc Xpressions {Review}

06/01/2015 By All Mum Said 1 Comment

Whether you rent or own your own home, you want it to look sophisticated while being practical. Where bathroom storage is concerned; the shower in particular can be difficult to achieve in a modern and sleek appearance. I have previously shared simple ways to makeover your bathroom but I didn’t mention storage in that particular article. The Everloc Suction Systems allow people to maximise their accessories without requiring any tools.

The Everloc Xpressions range is so easy to use. It only took a couple of minutes to install the dental station – this is no exaggeration! Only a couple of minutes. It uses the power of suction to hold which means no tools, no drilling and most importantly no damage.

1. Take the paper off the back of the suction cap.
2. Press it to the wall with the hole facing 12 o’clock and press the centre dot to ensure it is pushed flat.
3. Add cap and screw on tight.
4. Hook on the attachment. All done!

One of the best features of the Everloc range is that they can be used over and over again. The attractive appearance is surprising as when I think of suction systems I visualise yellowed white soap holders so they are naturally put into the category of old and out dated. This is so far from the truth in this case. The Everloc Xpressions Dental Station offers D.I.Yers, the style conscious and renters a professional floating appearance for their home. The practical designs permit them to be added without causing damage and removed without a trace they were there to begin with. The Everloc Xpressions new range features: Xpressions Double Corner Basket and Large Shelf, Xpressions Towel Ring, Xpressions Shower Caddy (which I would love to get so the kids can reach the shampoo and soap!) and of course the Xpressions Dental Station as shown.

Looking for Everloc stockists?

Have you seen the Everloc products before? How do you add storage to your bathroom?
