The first I heard of the movie Oddball was when my boys brought home a note from school requesting that they go on an excursion to the cinema to watch it. It wasn’t exactly sure what it was about but after a quick Google search, I wanted to see it as well. Oddball Review In all honesty I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. It had every aspect of a good movie; love, a hero, fluffy animals, the underdog, the twist and much more. So what is Oddball about? Well it is basically about a penguin sanctuary that is loosing penguins by the day (technically night) to the claws of foxes. In an effort to save the penguins and Swampy Marsh’s dog Oddball; they take a high stakes risk and leave Oddball on the island. To their delight and the surprise of Swampy’s daughter, Oddball saves the day….

Hunter Valley Gardens Mega Creatures 2016 As you have come to expect from the Hunter Valley Gardens, they get bigger and better every year. This year is no exception. The Christmas Lights Spectacular and Mega Creatures 2016 edition are an event not to be missed!! Like I have mentioned previously on the blog, we attend the Christmas Lights Spectacular every year. It has become a family tradition and the kids love it. If your kids are anything like mine; they will absolutely love the Mega Creatures as well. You can take a journey through the gardens and see some amazing works of art (botanical art obviously), different themes/gardens and the Story Book area. The school holidays are a great time for things a little extra special for the kids. The latest craze seems to be mothers enjoying high tea with their daughters however I have two boys that I know would love to attend one. Then of course my two year old tea party mad daughter would not miss it for the world. I cannot take all of them, my husband and my newborn baby to a fancy pantsy high tea.
