Being able to get things done around the house
I love the routine that comes with back to school! Everyone knows whats happening each week and what is expected of them… usually!
I love that I know they are learning all the skills to get through this world.. I actually miss them and love school Holidays,,

Love seeing my kids reconnect with their friends, sharing their holiday experiences,
the anticipation and excitement of what the school year has in store, just a few pieces in the puzzle that goes together to make a full school year happen.
We haven’t gone ‘back to school’ we are only just starting school for the first time so everything is exciting, even the buying of school socks is exciting. And just as when I was a kid, the stationery is the best part of back to school, some things just never change.

The kids love going back to school they know they will be learning new things and will be seeing all their friends again
Going to the toilet without being disturbed, I do my best thinking on the porcelain pedestal.
The excitement on the kids faces to see school friends again and to learn something new,
That 30 minutes of pure peace and quiet I get to myself after morning drop off,
And the house staying clean for longer than an hour a day
5 kids mum needs a rest,
Back to school, school is the best!
Mum can cook, iron and more,
We will finally see the bedroom floor!
I’ve loved your long break,
But it’s time to pack and take
Your little bodies back to school
So mum can rest, regroup refuel!
Finally seeing the end to “back to school”commercials”..surely its time for some chocolate egg commercials.
Call me selfish but I love the kids not wanting to leave me in the morning on the first day of school, and the big smiles, cuddles and kisses when they come home are the best

My daughter LOVES school so much so I’ll be happy when it starts up again and she can be challenged!
I love that they are so much easier to get into bed of a night time once school goes back
Having the peace and quiet to sit and catch up with all my favourite shows I’ve missed.

And the return of routine
Time to reflect on the holidays
And how much fun it has been!!!
For my first back-to-school this year, I guess that it’s the whole ‘new beginning’ or phase of my kids childhood that I’m looking forward too…though they are growing up far too quickly!
The routine and the ability to be able to shop without the children, it takes much longer at the supermarket when my three children tag along.
That now we can get to some real exercising as with the kids around exercise took a lesser priority.
Having the house clean from 9-3 weekdays!

Routine, routine and routine…I miss the kids but love that we get back into a routine…breakfast, teeth, dressed, lunches, bus, home, homework, dinner, showers then bed…love it and the kids do to…
I love that my son can see his friends and have fun with them.
I love the newness of everything. The lunch boxes look lovely, the pencils are unchewed, uniforms bright, hats not faded and kids still happy from the holidays!
Fortunately our son enjoys school, so when hes happy we’re (parents) are happy!

getting the kids back into a running routine rather than have them waking at all different times making morning chores a nightmare
I love the silence, I adore the peace;
Don’t miss that chatter that never does cease.
I love that mid-morning coffee quiet;
While she’s at school learning to read’n write!
To get some me time.
I love listening to them talk my ear off for hours after they get home telling me all about their day, their teachers, what’s different and who they played with.
Back into an established routine. Homework. And more time with the little ones.
The little “goodbye” hug and the enormous afternoon “I’m back” hug!
I actually LOVE school holidays and find back to school sad – BUT if i have to say what i love most, it would be that I dont have to listen to my children fighting (which does happen at times) – ahhh the serenity lol
I savor my brewed morning coffee in peace and quite, taking my time and not gulping it down.. Heavenly !!!!!
