Kid’s movies aren’t what they used to be. These days they are created so the whole family can enjoy them! They generally have funny one liners thrown in for the parents while the funny actions keep the kids happy.
When The Boss Baby trailers were playing on TV before the movie hit the cinemas, we had plans to go and see it however life happens and we didn’t get a chance before it had been and gone. Now that it is out on DVD we couldn’t wait to watch it!
The Boss Baby – fun for the whole family
I remember when The Boss Baby first came out in the cinema and all over social media I was reading mixed reviews. Some loved it and some didn’t think it was all that great.
I thought it was fantastic! It had the kids, my husband and myself laughing from start to finish. It was witty and fun while also including segments of love and sensitivity. From forever puppies and babies in suits to sibling rivalry and brotherly love, The Boss Baby has it all! It was the perfect way to spend a family night in.
The Boss Baby/Film synopsis
Seven-year-old Tim Templeton suddenly finds his share of parental love plummeting when his new baby brother (Alec Baldwin) arrives — wearing a suit and toting a briefcase — and makes it clear to everyone that he’s in charge. But when Tim discovers that Boss Baby is on a secret mission, he reluctantly agrees to team up with his pint-sized sibling for an epic adventure that might just change the world!
From the director of the hugely successful Madagascar franchise, Tom McGrath, comes a hilarious adventure-comedy about family and belonging. In addition to Alec Baldwin, THE BOSS BABY features the voice talents of a stellar cast including Steve Buscemi, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow, Miles Bakshi and Tobey Maguire.
New to Buy or Rent on Blu-ray, DVD or Digital HD – Available from 12 July.
