Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are once again the rage. I remember when I was little, my favourite show of all time was the TMNT. To be honest they have always held a special place in my heart. When my boys made me aware they were making a come back I was almost as excited as they were. Due to their increasing popularity, the TMNT merchandise available is expanding and now includes TMNT Pillow Pets Dream Lites.
If your kids didn’t like Pillow Pets before they sure will now. These are smaller than your standard Pillow Pet making them a great item for all ages and a product to keep in mind with Christmas coming up. The TMNT Pillow Pets Dream Lites are available in each of the turtles characters: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello. We have Leonardo (the blue one) and Poppet loves it! We turn it on at night time and she watches the starry ceiling before falling asleep. B1 and B2 love it as well because you can choose which colour stars you want on have it set to or rotate between them automatically. I love that there is a timer option with the TMNT Pillow Pets Dream Lites because it saves me having to replace the batteries everyday when the kids forget to turn it off (I think all of the Pillow Pets Dream Lites have this option).
This would make the perfect addition to a childs’ room if they are scared of the dark as it emits a soft glow but one that is calming and magical. Like all Pillow Pets these can be folded or laid flat making them a great toy during the day and soft and comforting at night. They are so soft but are built to be loved. You can purchase them from Big W for $29.99 or on the Pillow Pets website.
*If purchasing for Christmas – don’t forget the batteries.
For all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans, I have shared some great TMNT pizza topping ideas that will have your kids saying ‘Cowabunga Dude’!
Disclosure: I received the product shown above for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.
