Want Bright Youthful Skin? Try The Antipodes Serum Range

As I the years gain on me and I find myself getting older, I have started taking better care of my skin. Once upon a time I would not have had to worry about dryor dull looking skin, unfortunately winter is no longer kind and my chin gets visibly dry. It needs help these days to stay moisturised and looking its best.

I have been using the Antipodes serum range for a couple of months now and I am impressed. There are six serums in the Antipodes range and while there are a few that I don’t use as often as others, it isn’t because they are less worthy, it is due to me not needing all of them every day.

At the moment I’m using rosehip oil as a moisturiser for these cold winter days and I love Benefits pore cream! No secrets tho. I seem to be blabing this to everyone at the moment!

I love this range and will be running a review and giveaway of some of their products shortly too. Their products have the most perfect scent don’t they?! Beautiful!

Anything anti-inflammatory is great for your skin so I include some wild Atlantic salmon in my diet, especially the night before an event. It also helps not to damage your skin in the first place, so I try to be sensible in the sun ☀️

Oooh, lovely! These look so fancy. I’ve not tried them before. I absolutely love blogging about stuff that helps women to age positively … this looks like positive ageing to me! I look for skincare that can provide results for the average person with a price tag for the average income. I particularly like to find items that can still be applied in middle age to start turning back the clock (or at least stopping the clock in its tracks). I definitely don’t want to hear it’s too late!

  6. 26/07/2016 / 5:21 am

Those look amazing! I’m always on the hunt for natural skin care

Do use your wife’s creams, scrubs and serums. They keep us blokes looking in tip top shape too. Secret, because I don’t want my mates finding out OR my wife for that fact (she thinks I waste them all).

Find the combination of products that works well for you and your skin, and don’t stray from it. Not so much a secret I guess, more common sense.

I’ve only recently started using a day cream (and should have started years ago)…..the label says its like a facelift in a jar, and they are spot on. Very impressed!!!

My skin secret is to exfoliate. It removes dead skin cells, allowing skin to look great! Prevents breakouts and increases blood circulation. Helps brighten skin and lighten pigmentation. Skincare products can penetrate better into the skin. Texture becomes soft and smooth, it’s a win!

    Sunscreen is my skin essential
Hear me out – it’s not confidential!
    It keeps me from burning
    (Which is quite concerning)
    For skin safety, it’s instrumental!

I tone nightly with diluted apple cider vinegar, I swear by this stuff… And moisturise with coconut oil and occasionally diluted lemon juice is amazing for skin pigmentation.

I hope this isn’t a secret but my best advice for looking after your skin is wash with cold water and don’t over product, not with skin car, makeup, anything. Keep your skin clean, let it breathe, and be gentle!

You had me at regaining youthful vitality! I think my best tip is to drink water. Your skin is your biggest organ so it absorbs a lot of what you put into yourself. Keep hydrated to appear dewy, plump up those fine lines and try to keep the flakiness away!

A skin secret I have used whenever I haven’t had enough sleep is to relax for a few minuted with some chamomile tea bags over my eyes. Works a treat to lift tired looking skin around the eye area and reduces puffiness. Always a winner for me.

Just started using coconut water. A great light all-purpose moisturiser – softens dried skin on hands overnight. And smells of summer, of course!

My skin care tip is to maintain a good skin care everyday. Banging a face mask on every once in a while won’t make any difference if you don’t take care of your skin on a daily basis.

I swear by almond oil, and try to stay nice and moisturised inside and out..but honestly, my secret weapon is a monthly salon facial. I find it makes a world of difference to my skin and really we all deserve on hour a month to relax too. I feel AND look better afterwards.

I have tried and I love the antipodes range! I always use and support natural and organic skin care. You only get one shot at good skin & what you put on makes a big difference. No mastic chemicals means more youthful for longer. The Hosanna oil is beautiful and I’d really love to try the rest of the range. Some lovely indulgence for a new mum!

If you cant afford the expensive skincare – look in your pantry- Castor sugar makes a great exfoliator and eggwhites or natural yoghurt make a great mask depending on your skintone. Coconut oil is also amazing for so many things. Jump on google and have a look at some of the fantastic ways you can use whats in your fridge and cupboard to get your skin glowing and it’s all natural and cheap!

Dont put chemicals on your body as what goes on your body goes into your body so keep it as natural as you can, or else you will end up being a chemical monster shining like a tin can 🙂

My gran is 76 and she has beautiful skin.
I asked her secret, and she uses a blend
of half moisturiser and half foundation
on her face. Not only does her skin look
fantastic, but it makes the foundation last
    longer!

Natural oils. My favourites are rosehip and coconut oil. There’s not much coconut oil cant do.

  49. Jacoba Evans
    13/08/2016 / 5:55 pm

I use a moisturiser with sunscreen in it everyday. It’s very quick and easy, and that way I know I have protected my face with something. I’m sure it has made a huge difference over time.

  50. 13/08/2016 / 7:37 pm

My biggest skin secret is learning your skin type and tailoring your skincare with that type in mind. If your skin is oily and prone to breakouts, use products that decongest, with ingredients such as tea tree that facilitate clear skin, and moisturisers that mattify and are marked for oily skin. Research the best products for your skin type and try them until you find the combination that works best for you!

I’d love to try Antipodes serums. Someday’s I look in the mirror and think who is this and what has happened! Age certainly sneaks up with us all. I find overusing products and make up takes away from the natural beauty we all have. So I try not to over do it, that and smiling to me is a beauty win 🙂

  66. Natalie Stoute
    15/08/2016 / 10:37 pm

Sleep is my best skin saviour! Nothing makes me happier than waking looking and feeling refreshed! My ‘skin sleep’ tips are to use a high pillow to prevent puffiness under the eyes, a silk pillowcase to prevent sleep creases, caffeine based eye cream to reduce dark circles in the morning and use a replenishing serum under my regular night cream for that extra boost. Especially important in winter!

  67. Charlotte S
    15/08/2016 / 11:57 pm

Know the difference between dry and dehydrated skin – dehydrated skin produces more oil and using oil-stripping products will just make the problem worse! Use hydrating moisturiser and plenty of water 🙂
