What are the best nappies to use for my toddler? This is a question that parents everywhere ask themselves.
But honestly, who really knows? There are always going to be pros and cons for each brand and type of nappy. Which is why I don’t so much want the ‘best’ nappy, I want nappies that I am confident will do the job. Bonus points if they are affordable!
Choosing brands of nappies
I tend to stick with one or two brands of nappies for my girls. Generally, they are Huggies or Babylove nappy pants. One uses them for bedtime only and the other is only just starting toilet training so we are still quite reliant on nappies.
I want nappies that last through the night without leaking. I want nappies that don’t irritate. And I want convenience at a decent price. Is that too much to ask? Not at all. In fact, both the brands I use do this and do it well. That isn’t to say I’m not open to trying new nappy brands though.

Wonder Nappy Pants Review
Recently I began using Wonder Nappy Pants for this review. While I was intrigued, I was still a tad hesitant because they were cheap nappies and I had never heard of them before. Don’t get me wrong, I love affordable and I can be a tight-arse thrifty but opening yourself up to midnight bed changes caused by nappy leakage is where the hesitation comes in.
I would like to report that the Peppa Pig Wonder Nappy Pants have not leaked once! And they have been pushed to the limits. We have the toddler and walker sizes which seem to be the perfect fit for my 2 and 4-year-old girls.
Peppa Pig Wonder Nappy Pants – Fit
When first putting these Wonder Nappy Pants on my girls I was a little concerned that they didn’t cover their bottoms completely like other brands. However, they appear to be very comfortable and don’t affect the use of them at all.
The stretchy waistband is great as it offers a snug fit. It doesn’t dig in or irritate and it makes nappy changes convenient both at home and while out and about. I do love the pull up nappies for this reason.

Peppa Pig Wonder Nappy Pants – Absorption
As mentioned, I went into this review sceptical however absorption wise I cannot fault the unisex Wonder Nappy Pants. They draw the liquid away from the skin which is probably the reason we have not experienced any nappy rash.
I must say, in all honesty, I will be using these pull up nappies regularly from now on. The breathable cover, softness and effectiveness have sold me. And that is even before considering the cost.
Wonder Nappy Pants are available in three sizes – Toddler, Walker and Junior. Jumbo packs $29.00 and Handy packs are $12.50. Exclusively at Big W stores, nation-wide.
There are also Peppa Pig Wonder Baby Wipes available that are fragrance and alcohol-free, however, I have not used these. I will pick up a packet next time I head to Big W and let you know what I think.

I’m thankfully out of that stage – even with the puppy! YAY!
Yes I’m glad to never see another nappy again, too, like Lydia! Haha 🙂
I have always said there is little difference between nappy brands. Over the course of raising our six kids, we mostly used Home Brand nappies and they were great! We’re nappy pants users now because of the DIY factor.
Yay for being back up on-line! Thanks for your link-up. Today must have been pretty stressful. But in the end , you are back!! Yay.
