Have you got your 2015 calendar? + giveaway

I will be the first to admit that I NEED a calendar, if I didn’t have one I would forget so many things. I also take great pleasure in finding the perfect one. It can be frustrating when you search and search and come up empty handed but when you think about the fact you have to look at it for next 12 months, you want to love it. I have always looked in places like newsagents and department stores on my annual calendar hunt and for some reason had never even thought of looking online, which for me is strange as I buy almost everything online. This year however I have been introduced to Calendar Club which is where my 2015 calendars are from and so will my 2016 editions. I have found my new go-to calendar shop.

2015 calendar bitch humour

Calendar Club have over 4000 calendars to choose from in a wide range of topics and interests. They cover films, cartoons and TV shows, celebrities, music, sports right through to hobbies, cute animals, food, art, humour and so much more. There is something for every age and every interest. I found the task of narrowing it down to just 5 calendars an enormously tough decision as there were so many eye-catching and interesting ones to choose from. Yes 5 may seem like a lot but we have – 1. family/events/birthdays. 2. My work deadlines/blog, 3. Finances/bills/payments and 4 & 5 are for B1 and B2 because they like to feel grown-up. On B1 &B2s’ calendars we write things like library day, homework, swimming, etc.

2015 calendar kids

Did you know that just under 2 millions calendars are put under the Christmas tree each year? That’s a huge number when you think about the fact we live in a digital and technology fuelled world. While receiving a calendar for Christmas may not be of interest to some, others would absolutely love it!  I love nothing more than the old school paper versions of calendars and dairies. I love being able to physically feel it and add my own personal touches.

  • I love the juxtaposition of an uncoordinated dinosaur tackling modern, usually First World, problems. T-Rex Trying will have me smiling all year long.

  • Forgetful, oh yes that’s me,
Need a calender I can see,
I think they all look fun,
I’d be happy with any one!

  • Kiss 2015 Square Wall Calendar, the only one of the lot worth having as they truly are the hottest band in the world :)

  • Ah The B Word – B for beautiful, bubbly, bright and brilliant but don’t cross me or the B for ‘bitch’ comes out.

  • Any of them:) they will all do the same thing , tell me what I’m doing and if I’m in the right place lol

  • I love your idea of giving the kids a calendar. My son is really struggling with his responsibilities and trying to remember what to pack for school and when. He is also a HUGE fan of the mischievous Minions, so I would pick that one. Maybe. He is also a huge fan of Dinosaurs…. Mmm

  • would love to win the Despecible Me Calendar as I have 3 minions to run round for and keep tabs on with happenings throughout the weeks

  • Despicable me, Because nothing says ‘have a great day’ than a little yellow Minion smiley face staring you in the face when you read ‘ dentist appointment’ >.< i need this calendar to make painful things pleasant.

  • I would love to win Despicable Me. Myson is going into year 11 next year and he desperately needs to get his butt into gear and be organised. He loves this movie, it just might encourage him to use it!!

  • i love the trex trying one! It reminds me of one of my favorite trex memes: “I love you THIS much” “that’s not very much”. Also I need paper reminders to combat new baby brain!

  • Lol! I also do an annual hunt for calendars and had never considered doing it online until last year! I buy mine from the USA. I bought my teen Daughter a zombie one last year which is so funny! I will have to check them out. X

  • I’d love the Bitchy Humour calendar because the only “B” word you should call a woman is “beautiful”. This “bitch” love to be called “beautiful” and this calendar would remind me of this daily!

  • The B Word is my kind of calendar. Vintage classic images of women with real attitude and funny quotes!

  • Adventure Time because my daughter it OBSESSED with the show and is constantly asking me what date it is. Two birds with one stone

  • I guess I was supposed to tell you which one and why, I’d like to win Bitchy Me because — what the F do you care. DaNG! We’re always having to prove ourselves in these contests. Why don’t you just giveaway the freaking calendar and not worry about this? Is that bitchy enough? Well, forget you.

  • I love calendars, I use them to organise everything – appointments, birthdays, bills, my blog. I usually have 3 or 4. I spend ages picking them out, so far I’ve only got one for next year which I found at Typo. I’d love the retro mama one because I have an obsession with retro stuff at the moment. The sunsets one is gorgeous too. I usually go for all nature/beach ones so I’m trying to mix it up a bit this year.

  • Bananomina spagetteo bupoi para tu dui sae butt tatata bala tu bee do! I know, Despicable Me to write my answer in Minion for you but you seem clever enough to figure it out! ;)

  • I always looking for calendars around this time.. It’s helpful to have printed calendar.. I love Adventure Tume calendar :)

  • I always looking for calendars around this time.. It’s helpful to have printed calendar.. I love Adventure Tume calendar :) because I just love Adventure Time

  • Hehehe – I’m glad I’m not the only one who still relies on a paper calendar, I was beginning to feel VERY old school. “Bitchy Humour” is me to a T! I’m quiet well known for my dry witty humour.

  • T-Rex Trying sounds similar to Toddler Trying, with their tiny arms and small brains!! I think that’ll bring a few laughs into our house :)

  • TRex. Trex Trying is halarious. I love it when he tries to make the bed. Its like i live with a house full of trex they can’t make beds either.

  • T-rex trying. Because I have two little dinosaur-mad boys. They ‘T-rex’ everything while they’re ‘Trying’ to help me! I need a bit of a laugh to pick me up when I’m picking up after their next disaster:-)

  • Despicable Me, just looking at those funny Minions every day and hearing their silly voices will guarantee a smile on my dial!

  • T-Rex Trying! T-Rex Trying!

Seriously! No matter which side of the bed I fall out of and how many times I crash into the wall or stand on Lego before my first coffee – this would still make me laugh before I left the house!

T-Rex trying cracks me up! Have you seen the one about the sexually frustrated T-rex?! So funny!

(oh, and I totally cocked up leaving my name and address for the competition – I pressed enter after my name and that was it – oops!)

  • I would be happy with any of these calendars but if I had to choose, the B word would be a great laugh as would Bitchy Humour… we have 2 teen girls in this house, say no more!

  • Live Love Laugh 2015 Square Wall Calendar as i have had a tough emotional year and i have learnt a lot about myself this year and how precious life is (and live laugh love is my favourite motto) – however i need constant reminders to stay on track so this would be just beautiful to look at and read everyday and the pictures are so bright and colourful they would brighten my day also (plus i love a gorgeous calendar to write down all my appointments etc – i am not a digital person in that regard).

    • Scratch that above comment – i read your question wrong as i thought you meant our favourite from the website lol. Of the ones you have to giveaway I love the B word – as it is funny, quirky, would make my hubby giggle also and it is very relevant to me lol (especially the one about my chair spinning as i do that and it makes me feel good lol) :)

  • National Geographic Landscapes 2015 Poster Calendar,
Since traveling and now back in Australia,
    my heart has a scar,
for destinations around the world and afar.

  • Bitchy Humour is for me as it describes me to a B. I am happy to admit that I can be a bitch so what better thing than to have a calendar that helps me do it at my best ;)

  • I would love T-Rex Trying cause it’s so original, and whatever day of 2015 when I’m feeling down, I can look to the calendar and pick myself up!

  • I need a calendar for the new year – I’m already trying to coordinate events for the new year. And 2014 isn’t over yet – how rude! As much as I love the bitchy ones, I would have to go for Adventure Time or Despicable Me as I would have a better chance of my kids actually taking notice of what was on the calendar if it interested them!!!

  • Oh the T-Rex calendar for sure. Because life is never quite too stressful to not look at a T-Rex and laugh because the most awesome dinasaur of all has the most pathetic arms. Favourite Toy Story quote: “But look at my little arms! I can’t press the ‘fire’ button and jump at the same time!”

  • Despicable Me – I can finally have more minions in my household without needing to feed or care for them.

  • I’d love to win the calendar for Nanny and Pa,
Who hang a calendar on the toilet door to star.
I could imagine the snorting which would come from the loo,
If we won a copy of one of the T-Rex Trying or the Bitchy two.
Despicable Me it would have to be for us,
Most of the others would cause quite a fuss!
Perfect for all of the kids trips to the throne,
Much better than the Chemist calendars of which we moan!

  • T-Rex Trying is so cute,
his sticky situations are a hoot.
A light hearted joke to start my day,
will keep my trivial sorrows at bay.
His persistence will spur me on,
with that said I’d name him John.

  • The b-word is what they call me and I cannot deny it. I’m not rude but have an odd sense of humour that many seem to misunderstand. Is love to win this one so I can enjoy a laugh and not be thought I’d as mean.

  • I just cannot get past the t-rex. It makes me think of the movie step brothers. I’m a f*c king dinosaur. Love it.
