Beard Buddy Comb Necklace + giveaway

Have you got a hairy man in your home? Is his beard out of control? If so it sounds as though he could use a Beard Buddy Dog Tag Comb Necklace. They are the ultimate Father’s Day gift for the bearded man in your life. It is stylish, fun and most importantly practical. This unique hand crafted dog tag is made of antique bronze which gives it a vintage feel and comes with an antique bronze or black ball chain, whichever is your (or dads) preference. If bronze isn’t your preference they are also available in silver. Unbelievably solid this comb will brush through the thickest of beards with minimal drag, it is the perfect accessory for the beard fiddler.

Beard Buddy

I had never seen one of these Beard Buddy comb necklaces until a about a month ago, when I was searching for uncommon items to add to my Father’s Day gift guide. As soon as I saw it I wanted to share the product with you because it’s something you don’t see everyday. It’s exciting and heaps better than a new pair of boxers for dad. This is why I contacted them to see if they would be interested in donating one to my fans as a giveaway. They said yes! Thanks so much you glorious bearded buddies.

Mr C would argue that the entire range at Beard Buddy are for ‘real men’, ie. bearded men; he includes himself in this real men category because of his increasingly ragged orange beard. I love that Beard Buddies was found by two mates that wanted to create hand crafted products based on humour and a great design. They have certainly achieved this. Their range includes so much more than just comb necklaces though if that isn’t your dads thing; they stock beard wash and oil, shirts, survival kits, baby attire, stubby coolers and more.

To keep the bits out of his bloody beard lol!!! He insists on having a beard, and Mum insists he has to maintain it….grooming on a regular basis, but dear old Dad is a law unto himself thinking he looks a treat, not at all seeing the hairy mammoth he at times appears as.

    • 06/09/2014 / 11:56 pm

hehehe why can’t they see how messy it looks when it’s not maintained?

Well, what can I say?! My hubby has had a beard/goatee thing for a while now, and personally, I hate it. It just looks scruffy and makes him look old as it’s greying, and well, like a bum. 🙂
Our three young daughters, however, LOVE it. They take turns plaiting it, using their colourful hair ties and mini butterfly clips to perform various ‘styles’ on ‘daddy’s moustako’ (that’s their nickname for it.)
They don’t, however, have a comb as such for it. Sometimes our 7-yr-old will use her Barbie combs to detangle it. His dreadful beard has given our girls hours of entertainment and lots of time with dad, which is always a good thing!
If I won this, I couldn’t even begin to imagine the sheer delight on the girls faces, let alone hubby’s! He knows that I can’t stand the beard, but by giving him this, I am sure he will realise that I still love him no matter what, and that I do have a sense of humour hidden somewhere!

hahaha our kids love Mr C’s beard as well. Personally I’m not a huge fan but each to their own – he loves it 🙂

My dad’s so scruffy and looks a little mean,
To comb his beard he’d look more clean.
He scares off the boys with his big red beard,
He always makes them leave and think I’m weird.
He needs this comb so his beard can be fluffed,
Or more so I would be so chuffed!

At 37 years of age, I have never, ever seen my Dad without a beard! So he would use this every single day until the end of time!

This is tooo funny to come across at this stage when my partner has been going on about needing something to be made for the mans beard!
My partner Dan is always sporting a beard and I’m sorry to say but I don’t like his baby face look. Dan usually allows this to get out of hand and look of a different background when he has this crazy fast growing facial hair.
At the moment Dan is using my ‘Texturing Comb’ to brush and maintain his beard so he is knot free!
