Over the weekend it was wet, windy and miserable so my kids and their friends moved some mattresses out to the living room and had a sleep-out. They had a movie marathon of some of their favourite films and the new Kung Fu Panda 3. So naturally us parents had to ‘supervise’ and watch the movie as well.
Who doesn’t love a good kids movie? These days animated films are just as much for adults as they are for children, Kung Fu Panda 3 is no exception.
It is full of action, comedy and life lessons. Taking up where Kung Fu Panda 2 ended, Po reunites with his long-lost biological father and has yet another life changing adventure.
After reuniting with his long-lost father, Po travels to a secret village and meets tons of hilarious new panda friends and family members. But when the supernatural villain Kai challenges all the Kung Fu masters across China, Po must discover the teacher within himself and train his clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!
We heard the kids laugh, gasp and recreate moments from the movie. If you have seen the first two Kung Fu Panda movies, than you will want to see this one. We all have a big love for Po and want to see what happens to him next, which is probably why these movies are so successful. We have connected with his character over the years and now he makes us laugh with him (and at him) as we watch him grow.
