My hubby is the full time carer for our beautiful 20 yrs old special needs daughter Jade , he does all the heavy lifting , spends hours making her laugh and makes sure she has 100% quality of life , so for me he deserves something amazing in return for his devotion she is non-verbal so he will never get to hear the words “I love you dad” but in his heart he knows she idolises him.

    • 01/09/2014 / 11:26 pm

That is so lovely to hear how devoted he is. I could only imagine how hard that would be, I’m sure the smiles make it worth it though. Thanks for entering and sharing your story.

My dad is a special needs teacher at a school called Hopetown. As you could imagine, teaching 15 special need children all at once can be challenging but it is also dangerous. There are numerous times a year he comes home bruised, scratched and bleeding. There have even been trips to the dentist to fix chipped teeth. But he loves his job and wouldn’t change a thing. He relaxes by washing his car at 8am EVERY Saturday morning (literally rain hail or shine!!) Every fathers day, birthday and christmas he gets a big hamper of car washing products 🙂

    • 01/09/2014 / 11:30 pm

I didn’t even think of the danger associated with this job Ashleigh. I think it must be one of those jobs that when it is rewarding it is magical but when it’s tough it’s tough! Thanks for entering and good luck.

My Dad mows lawns for a living, so the barrier cream would be awesome for him, his hands get very dried out from being out in the weather all the time. He also loves his work van, and this prize would keep the mowing van looking awesome!

    • 01/09/2014 / 11:31 pm

It sure sounds like your dad could use this prize Kim. Good luck!

My hubby is not a handy man, his idea of working around the house is washing the car or scrubbing the BBQ! So in this case lightening car care would be perfect for him. He can clean and scrub all weekend. Luckily he is good at changing the tv channels and recording tv shows, as he works at foxtel. A place where he is able to see a television all day long!

    • 01/09/2014 / 11:34 pm

hahaha maybe his hands need some barrier cream from all the channel surfing.

His little project of restoring Mini Moke’s is his pride and joy, his escape time and way to use his creative mind.
I KNOW my dad would love this pack to keep his car in pristine condition.

    • 01/09/2014 / 11:41 pm

A school friend of mine used to have a moke and we all loved it! It wasn’t in great condition though, I’d love to restore an old car. Thanks for entering Amanda.

My partner is a car salesman who does an incredible job each and every day.
He cleans and polishes cars in rain, hail and snow.
He really is my very best friend and deserves all the love and support as he works hard to support his family.
This is why he deserves to win.

    • 02/09/2014 / 12:01 am

He is more than welcome to come and wash my car Alison! haha. I’ll even throw in morning tea. Good luck Alison.

  15. Rachel Kriss-Newell
    31/08/2014 / 5:10 pm

Hubby is a glorified farmer – but works for a State Government Department which means a consistent pay each fortnight. Thank goodness as we’re not relying on the lap of the gods for wages to come in. He sits on his tractor plowing perfectly straight rows, taking soil samples, placing seeds under microscopes for close examination. His work calls from exact measurements, perfect timing of spraying etc, so yes he is a little on the perfectionist side. As a result he loves to keep his car immaculate – his ‘other baby’ as he refers to her. So he’d just luurv this prize pack.

    • 02/09/2014 / 12:04 am

He sounds like a very busy man Rachel! Thanks for entering.

  16. Julia Mason
    31/08/2014 / 10:39 pm

    • 02/09/2014 / 12:07 am

Mine is due for a wash so if he is ever bored let me know. haha. Thanks for entering.

Dad has had the same car since 1988…he is not into new things (which is why he says hes still married to mum) but prefers to “make do and mend” rather than upgrade

    • 02/09/2014 / 12:08 am

I absolutely love that! It is so my sense of humour. Got to love the commitment to his car as well. Thanks for entering Sonia.

  19. Samantha Mullins
    02/09/2014 / 12:06 am

Hubby gets us by painting and decorating here and there. He always has to use an exfoliating glove to get the paint off his hands. The gloss paint they use doesn’t like to budge, so he would love the barrier cream to make getting that paint off easy peasy.

    • 02/09/2014 / 12:10 am

I come from a family of painters and am all to familiar with the dreaded paint. I feel for you Samantha. Thanks for entering – if you haven’t already be sure to check out the other great giveaways we have running.

  20. Nadine Hill

Hubby is a full time Boilermaker, working 6 days a week. He, obviously, doesn’t get much leisure time, but always ensures his car is as clean as a whistle. He would be so love to win this prize to make the task of keeping in A1 condition easier and less time-consuming! 🙂

    • 02/09/2014 / 11:13 pm

Yes 1 day isn’t a lot to relax when the home chores never end. Sounds like a leisure day should be on the cards.

  21. Trish Leonard

  25. Kristy F
    02/09/2014 / 8:07 pm

My dad is a house restumper which is a very dirty job crawling under houses in the dirt and mud day in, day out and very tough on the hands from removing and replacing stumps which he has done now for over 40 years. This pack would also be perfect for him as he is doing up an old car and these products could come in handy for him.

    • 02/09/2014 / 11:03 pm

The men in my life are not my Dad, partner, husband or grandfather, they are my son and my son in law, my son is in the Australian Navy doing marine research and my son in law is a business man. Both of them are excellent husbands and fathers and both of them deserve a special gift for fathers’ day. Maybe if I win this for them they will wash and polish my car for me as well 🙂

    • 04/09/2014 / 7:52 pm

hahaha I love your theory Cheryl! Good luck.

  32. Lisa Jene
    03/09/2014 / 9:17 pm

Nine to five, Monday to Friday, Dad is in the office programming computers to do things I don’t really understand. But when released, Dad becomes The Man. He’s the handyman, the gardening man, the mechanic man, the superman of all repairs. And he has the ute to prove it. Cleaning a car is a science, he tells me (since he’s also Car Washing Man). This pack would add to his (and the ute’s!) superpower super armour.

      • Lisa Jene
        08/09/2014 / 1:47 pm
