The Morning After with HeadsUp + Giveaway

The joyous season is here and with all events that are jolly, the food and drinks come out and play a huge part in the festivities. Many drink (some way too much) and more often than not the morning after is riddled with hangovers. No one ever says ‘How great was that hangover this morning?’. NO. They don’t want a great memorable night ruined by the unrelenting hammer pounding misery of a headache the following morning.

morning after

Please don’t hate me but I have been very fortunate to have never experienced a hangover. No matter how much I have had to drink, I always wake up fine the following morning with the exception of a very dry mouth. My husband on the other hand doesn’t have to drink much at all and will rise (not voluntarily) with a cracker of hangover. He suffers the desert resembling dry mouth, buckling headache, feeling like pencils are stabbing into his eyes, along with so much more. I know he isn’t alone in his misery and that with all the Christmas parties and celebrations, there are going to be a lot of men and women struggling to get out of bed the morning after a night out.

I was recently asked to review a new product on the market, HeadsUp, that helps prevent the dreaded hangover however as I don’t get hangovers I thought I’d keep one for Mr C and share the remaining products with you wonderful fans and let you review them. You can score a prize pack below but first I want to share some more about this revolutionary product. HeadsUp is very simple to use. It’s as easy to taking a few tablets before going to bed after consuming alcohol.

By supporting the body’s natural elimination of toxins HeadsUp doesn’t just mask hangover symptoms, it defeats them before you wake up. Even if you are a sceptic and you think this 100% natural, Australian made product won’t work; surely it’s worth giving a go. You may even find you don’t wake up feeling like someone has hit you repeatedly with a piece of 2×4. I have been told that sums up a hangover and I don’t know about you but that doesn’t sound very appealing after enjoying a great night. You can purchase HeapsUp by BioRestore in single pack (contains 4x tablets) $9.95, six packs for $49.75 or for the pro partier there is 12 packs for $99.50.

**Please Drink Responsibly**

This prize pack will have you sorted for the celebration season! I’d love it if winners could share their thoughts, reviews, expectations of the products with me to share on the blog when they have put it to the test.

Each prize contains: 1x Stubby cooler, 1x bottle opener, 1x stressball (stress-brain), 3 packets of HeadsUp (12 tablets total). + 1 or 2 may also include a HeadsUp cap as an added bonus.

on behalf of my husband that would probably be Saturday morning, even though he actually didn’t drink much the night before, but forgot to eat dinner.
He was woken at 6:30am by our son who had an accident in his pants..this ended in hubby joining him in the toilet for other reasons…he went back to bed, then later came into the kitchen to see myself and our daughter making chocolate balls for Christmas, took one look at all the brown stuff on our hands and rushed off to the toilet again!
He finally felt better around 2pm!

Firstly I can’t believe I am about to write this!

A few years back we were invited to a friends 40th, which turned out to be a wedding! Of course we were all excited and drinking our way through the day. Silly me forgot I was working the next day. So up I stagger for work the following morning, get into the car and as I drive the 40 minutes to work, I continuely throw up the whole way. What makes it worse was that I was throwing in a supermarket shopping bag, while driving around the biggest round a bout in Melbourne. I can’t believe I lasted six hours at work!

And of course it’s NEVER AGAIN! We’ll at least for that month.
Since having kids and realising that there are no days off, my wine has become smaller. Except for those Friday night wines with the school mums…

Going for a 5 hour bicycle ride, green (I was sooooooo sick with hangover) yet pretending I was ok to prove my mother wrong that I would not be sick the next day from over indulging the night before!

Waking up with the worst hangover from a big celebration at Wallsend Diggers, I had slept in my car all night only to wake and realise I had slept outside the Wallsend Police Station

I drink in moderation but suffer sever migraines and these would definitely help with that which has similar symptoms to Hangover as I usually use other products to help and they don’t work anymore.

Being so drunk at my parents house the night before. My Dad making me get up at 7 in the morning to help him cement the new footpath like I had promised. A lesson I will never forget

This would be perfect as an ‘after pack’ for Christmas Eve and New Year celebrations at my father’s house. We are originally from Denmark and on all festive occasions my dad still yanks out the old Schnapps and Jagermeister and makes everybody ‘toast’ all night long, lol.

I’d like this for my husband because while he doesn’t drink a lot he suffers horribly.
On the eve of our wedding day he had ‘a few’ and while we were saying our wedding vows he was spinning, I could see his hurt from his head UNTIL….
he threw up all down the front of my dress!!

Went on a girls night out on the town,
Drank a few to many cocktails down.
The next day I couldn’t get out of bed,
Because I felt too dizzy in the head.

My wife was heavily pregnant last Christmas and we had a work party on. She went into labor that night and was for the next 20 odd hours. I had the worst hangover of my life but it was nothing compared to her pain. Unfortunately the sight of the blood had me green and I was on the floor!
