Get Out & Have Fun – Globber Scooters For Kids
We love nothing more than getting the kids outside, having fun and burning off all that energy! But then, what parent doesn’t? I mean toddlers and preschoolers seem to have a bottomless pit of get-up-and-go, I can’t keep up with that all day!
One of our favourite things to do as a family is hit the pavement and go for a scoot. Finding a decent scooter is a task in itself but once you find a good one, nothing can stop you. We all have Globber Scooters and could not be happier with them. (To read the review of Globber My TOO 12.5 scooter and Globber My TOO Fix Up, click the link)
What scooter is right for your child?
Have you searched for a scooter that offers a bit of extra safety for your toddler or early preschooler? Look no further because these scooter offer some great features you won’t be able to say no to! Just in time for Christmas too!
Globber MyFREE UP
Designed for children aged 3+, the MyFREE UP offers safe and simple handling which allows young children to grasp the concept of scootering without their parents having to freak out they will become unbalanced and hurt themselves.
My 3 year old daughter Haddie loves her scooter, which is evident by the way she uses it to get from the dining room to the kitchen and basically anywhere else she wants to go. The gel wheels means it is smooth to ride and doesn’t leave marks on the flooring, otherwise it would be strictly outside only.
Other great features include:
• Long and covered rear brake (great for little feet)
• 2x 121mm front wheels and 1x 80mm rear wheel. 3x wheel is great for balance!
• High quality parts
• Lightweight yet durable
• Adjustable handbar for growing kids
• Steering lock system
• Max. capacity 50kg
Available in 6 colours – Dark Blue, Green, Pink, Purple, Red, Sky Blue

Globber MyFREE 5-IN-1
After my youngest saw her older siblings racing around on their scooters she decided that scooting was her new thing. She would jump on Haddies’ scooter and kick around the house. Naturally she tried to claim it as her own so we had no choice but to set hers up and it has been a struggle to get her off it!
It is a fantastic ride on convertible option for kids that allow parents to push children from 12 months old. The ride on with parent handle also features footrests for little ones so they don’t sit their feet on the wheels.
Once they grow a little bit taller (typically 15+ months) your child should be able to reach the ground sufficiently enough that they can ride themselves around. Globber suggests that once your child turns 2 they use it as a scooter, however our only just turned 1 year old prefers it this way. While we are walking to the park she loves riding it while we push her but the second we are at the destination or at home, back to the scooter it is!
Thankfully it is really easy to swap between the options because it gets a good workout daily! The quality is great and I cannot fault the design. It is definitely a winner here!

My son loves to play outside with his 2 dogs. He just adores them and loves playing fetch with them, most of the time he is the one fetching the ball but he loves it, and running around the yard with them but his favourite thing is wetting them with the hose as they act like complete idiots running around the yard it makes my son crack up laughing.
My little bubba loves the outdoors..Eating dirt and grass must be her favourite activity as she does it eve time we go out there ?
My little ones favourite outdoor activity would have to be playing with dirt,
watering the dirt,
driving his cars through the dirt,
eating the dirt,
riding our dog through the dirt,
basically anything with dirt!
Oh that looks amazing! My daughter would love this given her Christmas wish list reads – “Scooter, undies x 5, socks x 8, t-shirts x 6” YES she was even specific about the number of clothing items she wanted! So I absolutely must get her a scooter or she will be having a very boring – but practical – Christmas!
Miss 4 loves playing outside. She has an outdoor kitchen made by Daddy next to the clamshell sandpit- her idea of heaven! We get sand pies, sand cakes, sand drinks and more served daily 😀 😀
My little boy loves being outdoors. His favourite activities all revolve around the garden hose – running through the water, washing the car and watering the plants. All great fun on a hot day and I get a clean car and thriving plants too!
Dirt on her shirt
Mud in her hair
She’ll ruin her dress
But she doesn’t care
Our daughter’s favorite
Outdoor fun
Involves making mess
Under the sun
Mud pies, snails
Puddles galore
Making her happy
Playing outdoor
Currently its putting up christmas lights, normally its the trampoline, swing set and playing on/in the cubby house.
Your little ones are so adorable!!!
My 3 year old would love a Globber scooter 🙂

My kids favourite thing to do at the moment is to find snails and jump in the sprinkler.
Ben is always my shadow in the garden. At 2 years old, he loves weeding and digging…..I know it wont last, so I’m making the most of it 🙂
Collecting things:
Walking along the shore searching for pretty sea shells,
Picking up twigs, leaves, feathers and bits to take home to make treasured art.
Their way too fast, they’ll knock her down, I panic and worry but she never frowns. Racing her brothers they give a head start but her little balance bike wears her out pretty fast. Chasing big brothers gives her smile extra bling but there’s an extra glint in her eye’s when they push her on the swing.
Visiting to a beautiful orchard for some fruit picking!
Sandpit, making castles, making mess (always bringing the hose in or his buckets full of water) or playing with the Tonka trucks in there.
Collecting snails in an old ice cream container!
Going to the playground and hogging the swings.
We love running …….
running out of money :p
We love jumping on the trampoline – something the whole family can enjoy and do together!
Miss S loves taking the dog for a walk to the local park and playing on the swings every afternoon
Going for a walk around our local lake/park then stopping at then stopping at the skate park before we head home. Helps mum keep fit as well as the kids and everyone has fun.
We would globber around our local lake and MyFree year old and I would enjoy the time together
My 3 year old loves Jumping in “Muddy Cuddles” just like Peppa Pig. It doesn’t matter if he’s dressed or not
Gardening! We have a veggie garden and we are always out there, pottering about. It’s a great money saver, and best of all, my lo doesn’t mind eating their own home grown veg.
We love going exploring
On a big long walk
Its a chance to see nature
To have a chat and talk
We visit nearby horses
Maybe jump in a puddle or two
Climb some trees and logs
And eat a piece of fruit or two
Our expeditions are child led
we stop/start as they request
But winning the globber scooter
would really make me the best
Current favourite, running away from me! He also loves the cars at Playgroup and bikes at childcare – anything with wheels is a winner!
we play in the sand
having times that are grand
we build castles and animals
then we clear it and start again
Jumping on the trampoline
Bubbles in the backyard, or scootering when on the move…
We have a skate park close and our little princess so wants to have a go I have been nervous until now
Feeding the seagulls! My 20 month old is constantly asking to go for a “pinick” just so he can feed his leftovers to the seagulls…. The noisier they are and the closer they get the better…. Instant elation lol
She may be little and like most of us its flowers that wins over her little heart. A lover of getting outdoors and a harvester of my growing blooms at every chance.
my little boys both love helping walk the dog and running around they have the best time.
Youngest mister LOVES being pushed on the Flying Fox at the local park, his favourite part being when he bounces off the other end. He giggles, and could keep doing it all day.
We love venturing a few blocks away to see the horses and cows; and feed, pat and chat to them. On the way we stop for a play at the park, and explore nature. Literally, we take time to smell the flowers.
Anything her big sisters are doing!
Playing on the trampoline, just cant keep her off it, has safety sides so theres no problem with her safety
Bike riding as we can do it as a whole family
My daughter is 2 and I’m sure she would love a little globber scooter it would certainly be handy for Christmas! Thank you.
My kids love searching for things. At the moment they have a stick and rock collection all collected by them.
Swimming, she absolutely love it. Cannot get her out of the water.
Jumping on the trampoline with his favourite ball in blue!
The higher the ball bounces, the more he laughs too!
He loves being outdoors, being active and making noise!
He’d much rather pick flowers, than be indoors with toys!
The simple things in life give my gorgeous boy, such great pleasure-
He really is a delight to be around, a real cute treasure!
He’d love to find a Globber Scooter, just for him under the tree-
He be so excited- he’d be giggling, jumping and shouting with ecstatic glee!!!
