My CHUX Colour Consultation + $200 Bunnings & CHUX Giveaway!

You know those opportunities where you are faced with a new experience where you aren’t sure what the outcome may be or what you are even expecting to get out of it? Well thanks to CHUX I had this happen last week.

I received a colour consultation with CHUX Collections ambassador Chris Brazel. As I mentioned above I had no idea what I was expecting to get out of the session but thought why not give it go. I’m glad I did and must start by saying that Chris is not only so easy to talk to but amazing at what she does! She could tell so much about my family and I just by the colours we used around the home.

 

She talked about my kids as if she knew them just from the way their rooms are set up and the colours and patterns used on their bedspreads. Before talking to her I would have laughed if anyone said this is what the appointment was going to be like but it was incredible. She knew the characteristics and important aspects of every member that lives here – passionate, large belief systems, nourishing of others, emotional, partnerships, balance, security, etc. It was incredible!

She informed me I need to rearrange a few of my pictures and candles in order for things to run a little more smoothly. I need a tall green plant in my living room to boost my career and a rock with red ribbon tied around it in the main bathroom to ensure money stays in our hands where it should be and basically not go down the drain. I learnt so much from this one session that I cannot fit it all in this post but let me say this – if you get the chance to do this – DO IT! I have been surprised by how influential colours are in the home and the impact they can have on your moods.

Giveaway ~ Pepsi Next Prize Pack

You may have seen the new ad on TV for the newest Pepsi product – Pepsi Next. The one where the husband comes home with a new discovery of Pepsi Next and the wife/mum gets the video camera to film the new beverage in all its glory while the baby in the background walks on its hands and other impressive tricks to try and claim back the lime light. I got a laugh the first time I saw it and it got my attention.

Well I have recently tried this drink and must say I am pretty impressed by the flavour. In all honesty I prefer it to Pepsi Max! The main selling point to this new drink is that while continuing on with the great Pepsi taste it does it with 30% less sugar. Yes you read that right! It is naturally sweetened with Stevia (for those who don’t know Stevia is a completely natural sweetener). I think this will be a frequent in my fridge from now on.

There are a lot of women I know who freak out the second Spring and Summer hit about the extra few kilograms they gained while hibernating for the winter. A Boost with Flare

Every child goes through those years where they are too big for a highchair but too short for the family dining table. I don’t know about other families but we searched high and low for months trying to find the right booster seat with our first son and then again with our second. After all our searching we had no success!

 

We ended up just letting the kids just kneel while eating as just couldn’t find anything that fit our chairs properly or that didn’t require being pulled apart each and every time we wanted to clean it.
The grip tabs to stop it from slipping!

 

We have recently discovered the holy grail of booster seats!! I am not exaggerating and when I feel like I have hit the jackpot with a product I want to share it with everyone. This seat is from BabyBjorn and is new to their kitchen range and now also a very welcomed addition to our home. It is a perfect fit for our chairs (and will be for basically any other dining chair), it is practical and easily portable while cleaning this amazing product is so quick and simple. Don’t be disheartened by the fact it is white (I know what you’re thinking I was thinking it as well) however we have had spaghetti bolognese sauce spilt on it and not a stain on it! Impressed or what? I sure am.
