Can you believe it has been 15 years since Smiggle first opened its brightly coloured doors in Melbourne in 2003? That’s right, Smiggle turns 15! This is when the face of stationery was changed forever.

This Australian stationery shop has gone from strength to strength over the years offering families creative, original and colourful products at mostly affordable prices. The Smiggle school bags are on the higher end of their price range but as a parent that uses these each and every year, I can say they are worth it. Not only are they fun, they are great quality and have lasted each of my kids well over 12 months.
Smiggle Record Me Clock
Opening this up the colours instantly reminded me of rainbow paddle pops. A bit of a blast from the past. Upon closer inspection I realised what a great tool this is for not just teaching kids when it is time to get up but also how to tell the time.

Smiggle Glitter Markers
Forget gel pens, these glitter markers are awesome. Sorry kids, they’re all mine!
There is not much to report on these because they are pretty self-explanatory. Smiggle markers that draw with the colour and glitter mixed through. Pretty cool still. What I can say is that these markers aren’t heavy on the ink so they won’t wet through the paper you or your child are drawing on.

Oh there is nothing more exciting than a squeaky clean fluro highlighter! I start off highlighting the main points and other things that need to stand out and be seen, but by the end my notes tend to resemble a flattened rainbow. All hail the mighty highlighter!

I can’t function without my whiteboard and whiteboard marker on my fridge. As a busy Mum I rely on it for our weekly calendar, shopping list and meal plan – keeping me organised in an otherwise highly disorganised household!!

Paper, I get so much joy from a crisp, clean sheet of paper, be it coloured or stark white, calling out to me to please draw on it, of which I absolutely, always do, time allowing.

They make my to do lists fun to write and it just looks so pretty.
I personally love permanent markers as I’m always labelling something or other, or drawing faces onto my son’s paintings. And I always want to make sure I know where it is so it’s not in the hands of the kids!
My favourite stationery item is a little pen my Mum bought me when I was about 6 years old. With a sweet scent & decorated with colourful clowns, I can still remember the day I got it like it was yesterday. I still have it all these years later.
oh yes indeed colourful pens are so the best for sure
they stand out no matter what and look funky galore
they can be used to write anything from poetry or “to do” lists so they stand out so fine
and they make birthday cards or lovey dovey cards look utterly divine
they look amazing in my gratitude journal where I write in so many colourful ways
and when I am feeling down those colourful pens really do brighten up my day
so I can never have too many different shades or types of colourful pens in my stash
and if I get some for free I can buy more with my spare cash 🙂
